Tamper proof seal assembly
A tamper proof locking mechanism incorporating a first fixture for attachment to an index protective cover, a second fixture for attachment to an instrument, and a third fixture for connecting the first fixture to the second fixture. The first fixture may have a receptacle, the second fixture may have a plate with an opening, and the third fixture may have a protrusive structure that fits into the receptacle of the first fixture and into the opening in the plate to connect the first fixture to the second fixture. The protrusive structure may have a rivet that is partially embedded with a plastic-like material that reveals tampering when an attempt is made to break a connection between the first fixture and the second fixture.
Wristband and label form
A patient-identification wristband. The wristband comprises a strap. A terminal portion of the wristband has an upper section and a lower lamination section. The upper section comprises a printable ink defining a print area, a first slot inboard the print area and between the print area and the strap, a second slot outboard the print area, and a third slot outboard the second slot. The lower lamination section has a fourth slot below the second slot and a fifth slot outboard the fourth slot. A size of the fourth slot is bigger than a size of the first slot. A length of the upper section is greater than a length of the lower lamination section such that when the lower lamination section is folded over for lamination, the lower lamination section covers only a first part of the print area and leaves a second part of the print area exposed.
PACKAGING WITH TAMPER-EVIDENT SEAL
Packaging may include a base box and a lid having a tamper-evident seal. The tamper-evident seal may include a paper substrate having a first adhesive portion configured to attach to a side panel of the base box, a second adhesive portion configured to attach to a second side panel of the lid. The first and second adhesive portions may be disposed on opposing sides of the paper substrate, and a tab configured to be accessible on an exterior of a package when the tamper-evident seal is applied may be a part of the paper substrate. When the tab is pulled with sufficient force, the paper substrate tears such that the first adhesive portion and the second adhesive portion remain fixed to the first and second side panels, respectively, while the remainder of the paper substrate tears free so that the packaging may be opened.
Peel-able, tamper-evident security label for concealing information
A visual-information security system that includes an information security label positioned to conceal visual information on a substrate. The information security label may include a spiral-shaped cut (or other complex shape) within the body of the label and a pull-tab, such that when a user pulls on the tab, the label peels off of the substrate in a spiral pattern, revealing the information concealed beneath the label. The complex-shaped cut makes reapplication of the label difficult and evident, thus providing security to consumers. The label may include multiple layers of material, for example, a peel-off layer and an adhesive layer.
A SMART AND SECURE LABEL STOCK
The present invention relates to a smart and secure label stock with security features. The present invention relates to a label stock produced from a substrate utilizing adhesive and liner materials and having a plurality of security features on the rear side of the substrate made using specialized inks and various authentication features for different applications.
VARIABLE PATTERN SHIELD PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER
The disclosed embodiments provide a method for tamper-evident shipment or storage of goods. An Electrical Shield pattern is embedded in or printed on a substrate with other electrical, optical, and electronic components, communication components, semiconductors, which are attached or printed on a substrate to form a shipment bag used as a shipping container. The shield pattern can be made variable between different bags by using algorithms entered into a printer control system. The shipment bag with its components can then be assigned a unique signature which differentiates each bag. Application of encryption methods serves to guarantee the shipped goods are authentic and that were not tampered with during shipment. Digital signal processing is used to generate pedigree information, which may include items such as shipping location, serial numbers, sensor information, and lot numbers for the goods. The information related to the history of tampering attempts and other sensor status can be placed in encrypted form in an RFID tags or control or monitoring electronics which can be read by a mobile phone application or sent to a remote cloud-based server.
CUSTOMIZABLE CRYPTOCURRENCY CARD
A physical card (in some cases without any on-board source of power or computing capabilities) is configured to maintain access information for digital bearer assets. A unique identifier visible on the card may be transmitted to a server-system to utilize functionalities corresponding to the card (e.g., based on information associated with the unique identifier) on a decentralized computing platform, like a blockchain-based decentralized computing platform. Private access information, like a secret, private key that corresponds to a public key (e.g., a public-private key-pair) or a representation of the private key (like a ciphertext thereof) and corresponding encryption key, may be physically concealed with tamper-evident components such that a user can readily determine whether the private access information was divulged. In some examples, a user is required to activate one or more tamper-evident features, thereby altering a visible state of the card, to utilize functionalities corresponding to the card.
Combination wristband and label form
A combination wristband and label form. The form has a front sheet and a back sheet. The front sheet has a void. The back sheet has a wristband die cut therein and separable therefrom. The wristband has a printable portion and a laminating portion. The printable portion is coated with ink that faces away from the back sheet. The wristband is devoid of paper. The printable portion is configured to be printed through the void while the wristband is attached to the combination wristband and label form.
PACKAGING LABEL
A carton closure label is provided. The carton closure includes a first layer having a first adhesion value and a perforated portion extending at least substantially across a dimension of the first layer. The carton closure also includes a second layer removably coupled with the first layer, the second layer having a second adhesion value that is less than the first adhesion value.
Method of Manufacturing Anti-Theft Labels
A system and method for manufacturing a strip or label used to place a substantially invisible identifying mark is disclosed. A strip is treated by removing at least one area of a liner element, a film layer and an adhesive layer. Each one of the removed areas is substantially congruent with the other removed areas. A laser or other ablating device is used to remove the areas through vaporization. The strip element is peeled away from the liner element, exposing the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer is thereafter pressed against a substantially flat metal surface. The laminate top coat and the film layer are removed from the object, leaving the adhesive layer in place. The adhesive material is impregnated with a UV sensitive material, but is otherwise invisible.
