Watercraft safety flag
A watercraft safety flag assembly comprising a flexible planar visibility-enhancing element having a forward edge and a rear edge spaced from the forward edge by a width, and a rigid planar stiffening element secured to the flexible planar visibility-enhancing element, where the planar stiffening element substantially spans the width of the flexible planar visibility-enhancing element and is configured to provide maximum stiffening proximate the forward edge, minimal stiffening proximate the rear edge, and decreasing stiffening with increasing distance from the forward edge. There is also provided a header element joined to the forward edge of the flexible planar visibility-enhancing element and which forms a cylindrical sleeve for receiving a mast, where the rigid planar stiffening element extends into the cylindrical sleeve formed by the header element.
Dye-sublimated golf flag
A double-sided sublimated article and method for producing the same is provided. The article may be a golf flag and is made up of a single piece of a three layer twill weaving fabric. The fabric is woven such that horizontal threads are visible and a vertical thread is not visible. Each side of the article may be simultaneously sublimated with an ultraviolet resistant ink to produce a double-sided sublimated article having images on each side in a correct orientation.
Pop-out flag for a retail shelf edge
A pop-out flag for use along a retail shelf edge is printed on a sheet, with information on the front and back sides of the flag being printed without having to duplex the sheet through the printer. When the flag is removed from the sheet it folds onto itself so that an adhesive trim portion of the front and back sides of the flag come into contact with one another. The pop-out design also allows the liner to remain with the face stock to add necessary stiffness to the flag. A pair of concave, arcuate-shaped reliefs along the fold line permit the flag to fold flat onto itself so that the adhesive trim portion contains no voids or bubbles where the two sides of the flag contact one another.

Method for flag customization
A method is provided which enables the printing of a desired design on a flag or other textile material having a previously existing design thereon or that which does not. Providing a textile material, such as a flag; treating the textile material by removing any excess thread and hemming; preparing at least one printing paste; printing the printing paste on the textile material in a desired design through digital printing, screen printing, or heat transfer printing; and then fixing the desired design on the textile material, in accordance with embodiments of the method, may allow versatility and customization of flags and further allow consumers to personalize known flag designs.

Temporary Biodegradable Outdoor Display Objects
Temporary biodegradable outdoor display objects including marker flags, yard signs, boundary tapes, and grass depth gauges. The objects are all formed from a bioplastic material comprising a biodegradable aliphatic polyester produced from diacids selected from the group consisting of adipic acid and succinic acid, and combinations thereof and diol monomers selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, propanediol, butanediol, and hexanediol, and an effective amount of melt strength enhancer.
Integrally Lit Color Signal Flags For Motor Racing
Signal flags for use in motor racing which are shown or waved by section signalers/observers on racing courses and respectively consist of a colored flag cloth as well as a flag rod provided with a handle. On the flag cloth is at least one light emitting element is provided, preferably in the form of an electric blinking lamp which emits light with a high intensity in the same color as the flag cloth.
