Tamper proof seal assembly

A tamper proof locking mechanism incorporating a first fixture for attachment to an index protective cover, a second fixture for attachment to an instrument, and a third fixture for connecting the first fixture to the second fixture. The first fixture may have a receptacle, the second fixture may have a plate with an opening, and the third fixture may have a protrusive structure that fits into the receptacle of the first fixture and into the opening in the plate to connect the first fixture to the second fixture. The protrusive structure may have a rivet that is partially embedded with a plastic-like material that reveals tampering when an attempt is made to break a connection between the first fixture and the second fixture.

Sealing device

The present disclosure relates to a sealing device (10) for a container. The sealing device comprises a housing (12) housing an integrated circuit (14). A locking member (16) is slidably attached to the housing (12) and includes an electrical conductor (19) embedded therein. The electrical conductor (19) and the integrated circuit (14) form an RFID circuit when the locking member (16) is in a locking position. The electrical connection between the electrical conductor (19) and the integrated circuit (14) is broken when the locking member (16) is cut or forcibly removed from the housing (12) and cannot be re-established. In this manner, a manipulation of the sealing device (10) can be reliably prevented.

Security component with fiber Bragg grating

A fiber Bragg grating (FBG) security component for single-party and multi-party monitoring is provided. The security component includes an optical fiber having a plurality of Bragg gratings. The Bragg gratings provide a spectral response that is randomized based on the manufacture of the security component. For single-party use, the spectral response provides a reproducible spectral signature when interrogated with an optical signal. For multi-party use, each party applies a known optical interrogation signal to the security component and applies an external stress known only to the respective monitoring party. The resulting shift in the spectral signature is unique to each monitoring party, making it extremely difficult to successfully counterfeit the security component's response for all such parties.

Track and trace packaging and systems

Track and trace packaging is disclosed which may also be damage indicating. Track and trace functionality may be incorporated on, in or near the packaging at various stages of a supply chain. A damage indicating material can be incorporated into a variety of packaging substrates, which may change color when exposed to oxygen, excessive heat and/or excessive pressure. An anti-counterfeiting taggant material may be used to provide track and trace capabilities. Exemplary products with which the present track and trace packaging may be used include packaged condoms, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cannabis and the like.

The present invention relates to the field of magnetic assemblies and processes for producing optical effect layers (OELs) comprising magnetically oriented non-spherical magnetic or magnetizable pigment particles on a substrate. In particular, the present invention relates to magnetic assemblies processes for producing said OELs as anti-counterfeit means on security documents or security articles or for decorative purposes.

Internet of things smart clamp and usage method therefor

The present invention relates to the technical field of Internet of Things (IoT), in particular to an IoT smart clip and a usage method thereof. The smart clip comprises a moving component and a limiting portion cooperating with the moving component. The moving component comprises a moving component body provided with an inner cavity, and a driving mechanism. A first connecting plate and a second connecting plate which are connected via a spring are arranged in the inner cavity along a movement direction of the moving component. The outer end of the first connecting plate is provided with a plunger. The second connecting plate is connected with the driving mechanism. The plunger is capable of cooperating with the limiting portion under a spring force to lock the smart clip and of unlocking the smart clip under the driving the driving mechanism.

An insertion pin includes a pin member on which a circuit board, an inspection antenna, and an inspection chip are mounted. The circuit board includes a main circuit, a main chip, and an inspection circuit set in an open-circuit condition with respect to the inspection antenna and the inspection chip. A lock base includes a main antenna matching the main chip. When the lock base and the pin member are combined and locked together, the main chip is electrically connected with the main antenna to emit a first signal for monitoring with an identification device, and the inspection circuit is electrically connectable with the inspection chip and the inspection antenna to emit a second signal to allow a mobile phone to carry out quality control to determine if the first signal is in normal operation. Cutting off the insertion pin terminates both the first and second signals.

A security device (1) comprising an optically transparent layer (3) including a repeating first array of separate optical focussing elements (3) (e.g. having translational symmetry) wherein a pitch distance between repeated elements in the first array is a first pitch value (A). The device also includes a repeating second array of separate image elements (6) (e.g. having translational symmetry) collectively defining an image viewable through the first part. The device is structured such that a pitch distance between repeated or successive elements in the second array is a second pitch value (B) wherein the ratio (A/B) of the first pitch value and the second pitch value has a value, A/B=n±Δ, that differs from a positive integer value, n, according to an absolute difference, Δ, not exceeding 0.01 and not less than 0.001.
