Tamper Proof Tag For Watches
Disclosed is a tamper proof tag and accompanying method for verifying that a watch is authentic and has not been tampered with. The tamper proof tag, when affixed to the watch, ensures that the watch is authentic and prevents a user from tampering with the watch. The tamper proof tag also allows the watch to be worn while the tamper proof tag is affixed to watch and is minimally obstructive to the aesthetics of the watch. This provides a purchasing user with confidence that the watch is authentic, while also allowing the user to try on the watch without having to remove the tamper proof tag. The tamper proof tag also protects the seller from a user that may attempt to tamper with the watch after purchase. For example, the seller may condition returns for a sold watch on the tamper proof tag remaining affixed to the watch.
System, method and computer program product for detecting tampering in a product
A system for detecting tampering in a product having a tamper-detector seal, including a secure element configured to store a digital signature and a data associated with the digital signature, transmit the digital signature and the data associated with the digital signature in response to a request, detect tampering of the tamper-detector seal, and modify the data associated with the digital signature if tampering is detected. The system further includes a seal validation device configured to receive a public key associated with the product, request the digital signature and the data associated with the digital signature from the secure element, and validate the digital signature utilizing the data associated with the digital signature and the public key associated with the product.
Indicator tags that exhibit color transition
An indicator tag and a method for fabricating the same are disclosed. For example, the indicator tag includes a three-dimensional mesh comprising a plurality of pores, wherein the three-dimensional mesh is printed with a water soluble and ultra-violet (UV) light curable ink, a container enclosing the three-dimensional mesh, a membrane coupled to the three-dimensional mesh, and a dye dispensed on top of the membrane, wherein the three-dimensional mesh interacts with the dye when in contact with the dye to provide an indication.
Display, article with display, and method of observing display
A display that exhibits improved anti-counterfeiting effects. The display includes an uneven-structure-forming layer having an uneven structure on one surface and a reflecting layer that covers at least part of an unevenly structured surface. In the display, the uneven-structure-forming layer includes a first region group including a plurality of first regions, each first region including a flat part and a plurality of convexities or a plurality of concavities, the top surface of each of the convexities or the bottom surface of each of the concavities is substantially parallel to a surface of the flat part; distances between the centers of adjacent convexities or concavities are not equal; the convexities have a uniform height, or the concavities have a uniform depth; the first region group is formed, with the first regions arrayed inside at a regular pitch.
Sealing label
A method, comprising: providing a combination of a package and a label attached to the package, wherein the label comprises a fluorescent substance, illuminating the label with excitation light so as to cause the label to emit fluorescence light, capturing an image of the label by using an imaging unit, and detecting the position of the label by analyzing the captured image and/or detecting a degree of adhesion of the label by analyzing the captured image.

SEALING FILM
Sealing film for application to a base surface includes a carrier film and functional layers that include at least two color display layers and at least two adhesion-controlling layers. The sealing film has an adhesive layer for attachment to the base surface. The functional layers are arranged between the carrier film and the adhesive layer. The carrier film is detachable, at least partially, from the functional layers. In a second state at least one symbol is optically visible but not visible in a first state. The at least two adhesion-controlling layers separate defined regions from the at least two color display layers during carrier film detachment. The functional layers include at least one further adhesion-controlling layer, to make at least one layer behind the further adhesion-controlling layer, viewed from the carrier film toward the adhesive layer, visible in the second state, at least in certain sections, via the detachment.
Wireless security for freight container seals
Systems and methods can secure freight container seals using electronic sensors. A hardened sensor clamp housing can include one or more sensing portals. The sensor clamp housing can receive a bolt seal through each of the sensing portals. One or more seal sensors may be positioned proximate to the sensing portals to sense a physical characteristic of the inserted bolt seal. This characteristic may be electrical, optical, magnetic, or so forth. The seal sensors can generate an electrical signal associated with cutting or tampering with the inserted bolt seal. The electrical signal can be coupled to a sensor clamp module operable to determine a tamper state of the bolt seal in response to the associated electrical signal. The determined tamper state can be communicated via a sensor clamp wireless module to a container controller or communications gateway.
SECURITY COMPONENT WITH FIBER BRAGG GRATING
A fiber Bragg grating (FBG) security component for single-party and multi-party monitoring is provided. The security component includes an optical fiber having a plurality of Bragg gratings. The Bragg gratings provide a spectral response that is randomized based on the manufacture of the security component. For single-party use, the spectral response provides a reproducible spectral signature when interrogated with an optical signal. For multi-party use, each party applies a known optical interrogation signal to the security component and applies an external stress known only to the respective monitoring party. The resulting shift in the spectral signature is unique to each monitoring party, making it extremely difficult to successfully counterfeit the security component's response for all such parties.
PEEL-OFF DETECTION LABEL
The invention relates to a peel detection label that is a laminate including a support, a pattern layer formed in a part of the surface of the support, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive laminate having at least a low modulus layer (X), a high modulus layer (Y) and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (Z) in that order, in which the low modulus layer (X) has an n-layered structure (where n is an integer of 1 to 10) having a surface in contact with the support and the pattern layer and a surface in contact with the high modulus layer (Y), and the low modulus layer (X) satisfies a specific thickness-average shear storage elastic modulus.
