A post and rail assembly is provided. The assembly includes a lower element coupled to an upper element. The upper element is integrated or otherwise affixed to a surface of a room, typically a ceiling. The upper element includes a plurality of receiving components to selectively receive and retain a portion of the lower element. The lower element is secured to the upper element by coupling with said receiving elements and adjusting for a friction fit with a second surface, typically the ground. The lower element includes mounting components, the mounting components configured to receive one or more item. Multiple lower elements are utilized to support larger or heavier items. The lower elements are preferentially positioned at fixed points along the length of the upper element.

Sign display stands include legs. A leg for a sign display stand includes: a first side; a second side; a base; an inner surface defined by the first side, the second side and the base; an outer surface defined by the first side, the second side and the base, the outer surface opposite the inner surface; a channel defined at or about at least one of the first side and second side on the inner surface, the channel configured to receive a sign panel; and at least one protuberance positioned on the inner surface and substantially along a longitudinal axis of the leg.

A kit for making a sign utilizing a router includes a plurality of interlocking templates that can be utilized to form the letters for a sign. The kit includes two or more templates that are positioned in the same location on a board in a sequence to form a single letter, number or symbol with an island with an uninterrupted perimeter. The kit also includes a guide bushing that is secured to the router bit to prevent the router bit from gouging into the templates.

A merchandising display for attachment to a gondola includes a frame and at least one display panel. The frame includes first and second vertically extending members both having an L-shape with a first side for positioning against the gondola and a second side extending perpendicular outward therefrom. The at least one display panel is curved in a horizontal direction and includes one of a plurality of apertures for receiving hooks for the display of retail product and a sign. The display panel includes first and second lateral sides. The first and second lateral sides are attached to the second side of the first and second vertically extending member, respectively.

A merchandising display for attachment to a gondola includes a frame and at least one display panel. The frame includes first and second vertically extending members both having an L-shape with a first side for positioning against the gondola and a second side extending perpendicular outward therefrom. The display panel includes first and second lateral sides. The first and second lateral sides are attached to the second side of the first and second vertically extending member, respectively.

A sign holder system having a back plate and a front plate. The back plate is mountable to a wall surface, and the front plate is removably secured to the back plate. The front plate has a forward-facing surface for displaying indicia, such as a room number or a person's name. The back plate includes at least one recessed opening for receiving a clip attached to the back of the front plate. The recessed opening also includes a recessed pocket. The clip can be slid into the recessed pocket to secure the front plate to the back plate. The recessed pocket can have a ridge which engages with an elevated portion of the clip having similar or matching geometry. The ridge can have a wall that abuts the clip to lock the clip over the ridge. The back plate can additionally include a keyway for permitting a key to pass therethrough. The key has an end that, when inserted through the keyway, deflects the clip away from the ridge, thereby releasing the clip from the ridge and permitting the front plate to be released from the back plate.

User registration processes, order processes, and failure detection processes for a secure universal shopping cart are provided. Systems and methods may acquire identifiers. Systems and methods may also identify items associated with the identifiers. In addition, systems and methods may acquire a list of merchants that offer each item. Systems and methods may further determine, for each identifier, merchants based on user preferences. Even further, systems and methods may generate a payment token for each item. Systems and methods may then transmit the payment token for each item to its respective merchant.
