A signal processing method includes: obtaining a first frame synchronization signal including a plurality of first pulses, a period between a trailing edge of a first pulse and a leading edge of a next first pulse being a first time period, which corresponding to a first integer number of pulses of a first pixel clock signal; generating a synchronization calibration signal including a plurality of second pulses, a trigger edge of each second pulse being at a same time as the trailing edge of the first pulse; and generating a second frame synchronization signal including a plurality of third pulses, a period between the trigger edge of each second pulse and a leading edge of a third pulse closest to the second pulse after the second pulse being a second time period, which corresponding to a first integer number of pulses of the second pixel clock signal.
Luminance calibration system and method of mobile device display for medical images
A luminance calibration system and method of mobile device display for medical images is provided, and allows a mobile device display to display the medical images complying with grayscale standard display function (GSDF) defined by Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) under any environmental light sources; for example, the medical images displayed by the mobile device display can meet a Just-Noticeable Difference (JND) defined by DICOM to facilitate medical diagnosis for medical staffs. In addition, the luminance calibration system and method of mobile device display for medical images only adjusts the medical images inside the operating window of the mobile device display, while any image outside the operating window of the mobile device display is reserved; as a result, the luminance calibration system and method of mobile device display for medical images makes the mobile device display to be a medical image screen as well as a regular screen.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides an electronic apparatus capable of capturing an image without being affected by an abnormality on a display surface.
The electronic apparatus includes: a display unit; an imaging unit that is disposed on an opposite side to a display surface of the display unit; an abnormality detection unit that detects an abnormality on the display surface; and a display control unit that highlights a position where the abnormality detected by the abnormality detection unit occurs on the display unit.
CUSTOMIZED DISPLAY COLOR PROFILES FOR INDIVIDUAL COLOR PREFERENCE
Customization of display color profiles is described. A first interface for customizing a global color preference is generated. Feedback from a user is received via the first interface. The feedback describes a customized global color preference. A second interface for customizing a memory color preference is generated. Feedback is received from the user via the second interface. The feedback describes the customized memory color preference. A color preference profile is generated using the customized global color preference and the customized memory color preference. The color preference profile describes the user's preference for how color is presented. The color preference profile is associated with a user profile of the user. Visual content is rendered on a display of the device in accordance with the color preference profile.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD THEREOF
An electronic appliance is provided. The electronic appliance includes a communication interface, a memory storing at least one instruction, and a processor which is connected with the memory and the communication interface and controls the electronic apparatus. Here, the processor may, by executing the at least one instruction, based on an event for reading extended display identification data (EDID) stored in the memory at an external apparatus connected through the communication interface occurring, toggle a first signal related to the communication interface, and after the first signal is toggled, monitor a signal output from the external apparatus and identify whether the external apparatus failed to read the EDID information, and based on identifying that the external apparatus failed to read the EDID information, toggle a second signal related to the communication interface.
Display calibration system
A system may include multiple electronic devices. A first device such as a source electronic device may supply visual content for displaying by a display in a second electronic device such as a display electronic device. The display electronic device may be a television or other device with a display. Calibration operations may be performed by taking light measurements on light produced by the display when test content is provided from the first device to the second device. A third electronic device in the system such as a portable electronic device with an ambient light sensor may make measurement on the light from the display while the test content is being displayed. The test content may contain a test image target with time-varying color and time-varying intensity, allowing calibration information such as gamma curves to be obtained on the display.
