CHIPSET FOR FRAME RATE CONTROL AND ASSOCIATED SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD
The present invention provides a chipset for FRC, wherein the chipset includes a first FRC chip and a second FRC chip. The first FRC chip is configured to receive a first part of input image data, and perform a motion compensation on the first part of the input image data to generate a first part of an output image data, wherein a frame rate of the output image data is greater than or equal to a frame rate of the input image data. The second FRC chip is configured to receive a second part of the input image data, and perform the motion compensation on the second part of the input image data to generate a second part of the output image data; wherein the first part and the second part of the output image data are combined into the complete output image data for displaying on a display panel.
Ruggedized remote control display latency and loss of signal detection for harsh and safety-critical environments
Systems, methods, and apparatuses are disclosed for overcoming latency and loss of signal detection in remote control displays. An exemplary system includes a remote control, a host computing device, and one or more target systems communicatively coupled to each other over a wired and/or wireless network. One method includes receiving, by the remote control and from a host computing device, a first video frame captured by a target device, determining a first time corresponding to receipt of the first video frame, receiving, from the host computing device, a second video frame, determining a second time corresponding to receipt of the second video frame, comparing the time difference to a latency threshold, and causing an alert graphic element to be displayed indicating a latency in communication.
Vehicular vision system
A vehicular vision system includes a camera, a distance sensor and a controller having at least one processor. Image data captured by the camera and sensor data captured by the distance sensor are processed at the controller. The controller, responsive to processing of captured image data and of captured sensor data, detects an object. The controller determines the distance to the detected object based at least in part on difference between the positions of the detected object in captured image data and in captured sensor data. The controller, responsive to processing of captured image data and of captured sensor data, and responsive to the determined distance to the detected object, determines that the detected object represents a collision risk. The controller alerts a driver of the vehicle of the collision risk and/or controls the vehicle to mitigate the collision risk.
Semiconductor apparatus with OSD function
A video input interface receives video data. An OSD circuit draws an intermediate layer in a target region in which an OSD character is to be overlaid on the video data, and overlays the OSD character on the intermediate layer.
Method of generating OSD data
The present invention provides a method for generating a plurality of on-screen display (OSD) data used in a back-end (BE) circuit. The BE circuit is configured to process a plurality of image data to be displayed on a display device. The method includes steps of: receiving the plurality of image data from an application processor (AP); and extracting information of a detecting layer embedded in the plurality of image data, wherein the information of the detecting layer indicates the plurality of OSD data corresponding to at least one user-interface (UI) layer in the plurality of image data.
DELAYED OPENING PORT ASSEMBLY
A port assembly for controlling fluid flow through a flow port of a port sub. The port assembly comprises a dissolvable barrier, a burst disk for protecting the dissolvable barrier from fluids inside the port sub, and optionally a protective layer for protecting the dissolvable barrier from external fluids. When the burst disk is ruptured by increased fluid pressure inside the port sub, the dissolvable barrier starts disintegrating from exposure to the fluid. When the dissolvable barrier and protective layer are broken through, a flow passage is opened in the port assembly to permit fluid flow therethrough. The flow passage may be positioned tangentially in the port sub. The breakthrough time of the dissolvable barrier may be preconfigured by providing one or more thinner areas therein and/or placing a corrosive material in the port assembly.
SUPERIMPOSED-IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
Provided is a superimposed-image display device configured such that when there is a guidance divergence point, which is a guidance target, ahead in a traveling direction of a vehicle, a plurality of guidance objects that provide guidance on an entry route that enters the guidance divergence point and an exit route are displayed. When a course including the entry route, the guidance divergence point, and the exit route is displayed using a plurality of guidance objects, the plurality of guidance objects are displayed so as to match the elevation of the line of sight of an occupant and displayed so as to be shifted to locations that are on the opposite side to an exit direction at the guidance divergence point relative to the front of the vehicle.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING IMAGE ON DISPLAY DEVICE
Disclosed are an electronic apparatus, and a method for displaying an image on a display device. The electronic apparatus comprises: a display device; an image acquisition device, which is configured to acquire a surrounding image of the display device; and a processor, which is configured to determine a background image of the display device according to the surrounding image, acquire a target range, and a target object in the background image, determine a target image according to the background image, the target range and the target object, and control the display device to display the target image, wherein the target image does not include the target object.
Display apparatus, image processing apparatus, and control method
A display apparatus includes a display screen, and a controller that causes the display screen to display a composite image in which a first image acquired by imaging a space by a camera and a second image representing at least one type of aerosol existing in the space are combined. The position of the at least one type of aerosol as seen in a depth direction in the first image is reflected in the second image.
Video pipeline system and method for improved color perception
A system is provided for facilitating an enhanced video pipeline in order to improve color perception. The system comprises a first source configured to generate a first video stream, a second source configured to generate a second video stream, and a computing device. In this context, the computing device is configured to superpose the first video stream onto the second video stream, thereby generating an output video stream. The computing device is further configured to calculate weighting factors for individual pixels or discrete pixel sets of adjacent individual pixels of the output video stream by analyzing the first video stream and/or the second video stream.
