The method includes transmitting display data and audio data in real time for a projection device through a data channel connected to the projection device; monitoring a state of the data channel and an output state of the audio data on the projection device; and controlling the audio data transmitted in real time to be switched to a playback device for output if the state of the data channel is a connected state and the output state of the audio data on the projection device is an ineffective output state.

A hub system control method, for controlling a hub which has a maximum bandwidth and is connected to a plurality of monitors, comprising: acquiring resolutions and refresh rates of each one of the monitors by the hub; computing used bandwidths of each one of the monitors according to the resolutions and the refresh rates; and controlling the hub to operate corresponding to at least one relation between the used bandwidths and the maximum bandwidth.

One example of a device includes a display screen, a machine readable storage medium storing instructions and Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) data, and a processor. The processor is to execute the instructions to provide an on-screen display control to enable a user to select one of a plurality of EDID standards and format the EDID data based on the selected EDID standard.

A method of providing display signal, performed by a first processing device, and the method includes: triggered by a first detection signal to read first identification data of a display, obtaining second identification data according to a reading condition, outputting a second detection signal to a second processing device to obtain an identification data request signal from the second processing device, and outputting the second identification data to the second processing device according to the identification data request signal to instruct the second processing device to output a display signal to the display according to a resolution indicated by the second identification data. An electronic device with a connector supporting multiple connection standards includes the connector, a processor, a controller, an EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) ROM, a first multiplexer circuit and a second multiplexer circuit. The first multiplexer circuit is coupled to at least one signal pin of the connector, the processor and the controller. The second multiplexer circuit is coupled to the EDID ROM, the first multiplexer circuit, the processor and the controller. Under an update state, the controller is electrically connected to the EDID ROM through the second multiplexer circuit, and updates EDID in the EDID ROM with update data.

A data authorization controlling and matching system includes a receiver, a plurality of display devices, and at least one transmitter. The receiver is used for receiving an image signal. The plurality of display devices are coupled to the receiver for displaying the image signal. The at least one transmitter is coupled to the receiver for outputting the image signal. After a member list saved in the receiver is configured, a data link between the receiver and the at least one transmitter is established. Hardware information of the at least one transmitter is saved in the receiver. The receiver automatically identifies the at least one transmitter according to the hardware information of the at least one transmitter. After the at least one transmitter is identified, the receiver sets authorization information of the at least one transmitter.

A resolution adjustment method applied to image display of a display device includes the display device providing a display menu to obtain a display layout composed of a plurality of display areas, the display device performing a resolution parameter setting on each display area according to the display layout and an original resolution parameter of the display device, the display device generating an updated product code and a plurality of updated resolution parameters according to an original product code and the original resolution parameter of the display device and each resolution parameter setting, and each image source reading the updated product code and the updated resolution parameter and outputting an image corresponding to the updated resolution parameter via a corresponding transmission port to the corresponding display area.

The present disclosure provides a method of controlling a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI). The method includes: reading, by a source device, extended display identification data (EDID) of a sink device when the sink device and the source device are connected; writing information about the source device in a status and control data channel (SCDC) structure; and reading, by the source device, the EDID again based on a predetermined field value included in the SCDC structure.
