The appearance of content that guides a traveling path of a vehicle is improved. When a display control ECU shifts a path line, which is expressed by path line information included in map information for navigation, in a vehicle transverse direction in accordance with a distance along the vehicle transverse direction between a position of a vehicle and the path line, the display control ECU causes content to be displayed on a HUD at a corresponding position on the shifted path line.

An electronic device includes sensors, a display, and a processor electrically connected to the sensors and the display, in which the electronic device is in a first running mode for permanently providing compass information or a second running mode for providing the compass information, in response to a request from a user. When set to be in the first running mode, the processor a performance mode of a digital compass to be a first performance mode, determines first performance mode-based compass information using the sensors, and displays the determined first performance mode-based compass information on the display. When set to be in the second running mode, the processor sets the performance mode of the digital compass to be a second performance mode, determines second performance mode-based compass information using the sensors at the request from the user, and displays the determined second performance mode-based compass information on the display.

Systems and methods for remotely monitoring display assemblies are provided. Each of the electronic display assemblies includes sensors in electronic communication with a controller, which is in electronic communication with a network communication device. At a monitoring center, different customer identifiers are associated with different portions of data, a particular customer identifier is received from a customer device, the portions of the data associated with the particular customer identifier are identified for transmission to the customer device, and one or more user displays are generated with the identified data.

According to one embodiment, a color changing display includes a housing, a cover cooperatively coupled to the housing, a light panel, and a color display panel. The light panel and the color display panel are positioned between the housing and the cover. The subject matter contained herein relates to a programmable electronic display that can be controlled by a mobile device, such as a cell phone. Said display is configured to be placed for view outside a vehicle, such as the rear window of a car or a truck bed gate or on top of the roof of a car.

The method comprises, for each message of a set of messages, obtaining a message content and a message location search term, submitting the message location search term to a web mapping service so that a service application programming interface (API) searches with the message location search term, and receiving a result list including a plurality of message locations corresponding to the message. The method further comprises adding the message content and the plurality of message locations to a message distribution database or set of linked databases that is or are searchable by location. This facilitates the sending of relevant message location(s) to the consumer devices.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving, over a network from a plurality of mobile devices via a plurality of installed SDKs, sensor data captured by one or more sensors of the plurality of mobile devices, where the sensor data includes geomagnetic data captured within a particular building; providing, over the network, the sensor data to a geomagnetic mapping server to enable generation of a geomagnetic footprint for the particular building that is aggregated with indoor mapping data for the particular building and stored as a map in a mapping repository; and providing, over the network, the map of the particular building to a communication device for presentation at the communication device along with real-time locations of first responders in the particular building, where the real-time locations are determined according to real-time sensor data including real-time geomagnetic data captured by sensors of the first responders.
