A method of controlling a display device is a method for controlling a display device including a light modulation sheet switchable between a transparent state and an opaque state. When an operation to turn on the display device is obtained, a PWM waveform for generating an alternating voltage based on a direct voltage is output, the alternating voltage having a duty cycle of 50% at a phase of 0 degrees or 180 degrees, the alternating voltage is generated from the direct voltage, based on the PWM waveform output, and the alternating voltage generated is output to the light modulation sheet.
FAULT TOLERANT DISPLAY
A fault-tolerant active matrix display device for avionics systems includes a panel glass, a set of source signal lines, and a set of gate signal lines. Each of the gate signal lines includes a first gate line end and a second gate line end on opposite sides of the panel glass. A source driver circuit is coupled to at least a portion of the source signal lines. A first gate driver circuit includes a first set of gate driver cells. Each of the gate driver cells of the first gate line driver circuit includes a gate line output connected to one of the set of gate signal lines at the first gate line end thereof. A second gate driver circuit includes a second set of gate driver cells.

Dynamic shading system
A dynamic shading system is disclosed. The system comprises a screen and a control system. The screen comprises a plurality of light valves. Each light valve has an adjustable translucency so that the screen can present an image on one side of the screen. The control system is configured to determine what image is to be presented on the one side of the screen in dependence of light intensity incident on another side of the screen. the control system is further configured to control each light valve of the screen to have a translucency so that the plurality of the light valves forms the determined image on the one side of the screen.
Liquid crystal display and driving method to compensate a deformation area thereof
A liquid crystal display (LCD) and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The LCD includes: an LCD panel, a grayscale voltage output portion and a grayscale voltage adjusting portion. The LCD panel includes a deformation area formed by bonding of a driver integrated circuit, and the deformation area includes a first subpixel. The grayscale voltage output portion is configured to output a first grayscale voltage to the first subpixel. The grayscale voltage adjusting portion is configured to adjust the first grayscale voltage into a second grayscale voltage, so that a brightness of the first subpixel at the second grayscale voltage is less than a brightness of the first subpixel at the first grayscale voltage.

Disclosed is a touch sensitive display apparatus which decreases a load of each of a plurality of touch electrodes and reduces a load deviation between the plurality of touch electrodes, thereby enhancing image quality. The touch sensitive display apparatus comprises a touch sensitive panel. The touch panel comprises a plurality of touch electrodes comprising at least a first touch electrode. The first touch electrode comprises a plurality of first touch electrode lines that are parallel to each other. A first touch signal line is connected to the plurality of first touch electrode lines of the first touch electrode, and the first touch electrode is driven for image display and touch sensing via the first touch signal line. A first connecting line is in a different layer than the first touch electrode lines, and the first connecting line is connected to the plurality of first touch electrode lines.

A liquid crystal display device comprises a display panel, at least one signal generator, and a plurality of wires. The display panel has a plurality of input ends to receive data signal. The at least one signal generator has a plurality of output ends to supply the data signal to the input ends of the display panel, respectively. The wires connects the output ends of the at least one signal generator to the input ends of the display panel, respectively, the wires having lengths measured between the output ends of the at least one signal generator and the input ends of the display panel, respectively, the length of the wires being different from each other according to location of the output ends of the at least one signal generator.
