Mechanical connections in piano-action of piano

The present disclosure relates to a piano-action. The piano-action may comprises a first moving component including a concavity structure, a second moving component including a convexity structure, wherein the convexity structure and the concavity structure are configured to match each other and capable of being clipped together, and a third moving component being thin and flexible and configured to fixedly fit between the first moving component and the second moving component when the convexity structure of the second moving component is clipped into the concavity structure of the first moving component.

VIBRATION PLATE AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENT

A vibration plate for a musical instrument includes: a plate-shaped vibration plate main body that has a deformation anisotropy property; a first elongated reinforcing member disposed on a first face of the vibration plate main body, and that projects outwardly from the first face and extends along the first face in a direction that prevents the vibration plate main body from deforming; and a second elongated reinforcing member disposed on a second face of the vibration plate main body, and that projects outwardly from the second face and extends along the second face in the direction that prevents the vibration plate main body from deforming. As viewed from a thickness direction of the vibration plate main body, at least part of the first elongated reinforcing member overlaps with at least part of the second elongated reinforcing member.

The present disclosure relates to a method and system for calibrating a musical device. In some embodiments, a method for calibrating a musical device includes: energizing an actuator to actuate a key using a force corresponding to a first intensity level; obtaining, from a sensor, a first sensor signal representing motion information of the key corresponding to application of the force; and calibrating the musical device based on the first sensor signal.

A GRAND PIANO SOUNDBOARD WITH A BAR AND SOUND TUNNELS

A grand piano soundboard with a bar and sound tunnels has an outer wall with first and second grooves. The first groove is arranged diagonally in the width direction. The second groove is arranged diagonally in the length direction. The grooves cross and connect on the outer wall of the soundboard. The outer wall is divided into four resonance regions, and its center has a bar assembly having strip-shaped bar members arranged on both sides of the grooves in pairs; The grooves form a sound tunnel on the outer wall. The soundboard is changed from the previous free vibration mode to the current standard vibration mode. The treble of the grand piano is bright and the bass was sonorous and mellow from the perspectives of vibration, resonance and phonation. The design scheme has outstanding substantive characteristics and remarkable technical progress, and has obtained technical results.

Musical instrument and vibrator

Provided is a musical instrument including a vibratable body; and a vibrator. The vibrator includes a vibrating body that vibrates in a predetermined direction; and a coupling member coupling the vibrating body and the vibratable body and that transmits vibration of the vibrating body to the vibratable body. The coupling member includes a shaft extending between the vibrating body and the vibratable body; a first wire rod coupling one end portion of the shaft and the vibrating body; and a second wire rod coupling another end portion of the shaft and the vibratable body. A resonance frequency of each of the shaft, the first wire rod, and the second wire rod is at least 10 kHz.

Smart piano system

Systems and methods for providing a piano system are provided. In some embodiments, the methods include receiving a plurality of key signals related to a first performance of a piece of music, wherein each of the plurality of key signals corresponds to motion of at least one key of a piano during the first performance; generating first performance information based on the plurality of key signals; receiving musical data related to a second performance of the piece of music; receiving musical data related to a second performance of the piece of music, generating second performance information based on the musical data; and providing content for presentation on a display device based on the first performance information and the second performance information. The methods can also include receiving at least one pedal signal corresponding to motion of a pedal of the piano during the first performance, and generating first performance information based on the pedal signal.
