PLUG FOR ELECTRONIC PLUCKED STRING INSTRUMENT AND CABLE WITH PLUG FOR ELECTRONIC PLUCKED STRING INSTRUMENT
The invention provides a plug for an electronic plucked string instrument having a structure for fixing with a set screw by inserting a cable into a sleeve in a plug side. A biting convex portion biting into an insulated outer sheath while receiving a screwing compression force of a set screw via a cable is formed integrally on an inner peripheral surface of an attachment sleeve in a plug side along a peripheral direction of a sleeve inner peripheral surface. The biting convex portion formed on the inner peripheral surface of the attachment sleeve in the plug bites into the insulated outer sheath of the cable. Thus, a slip displacement against a sleeve inner surface of the cable is inhibited by the biting convex portion and a slack of the set screw can be effectively suppressed even in a case where a stronger tensile force is applied to the cable.
Performance analysis method and performance analysis device
A performance analysis method realized by a computer includes sequentially estimating performance positions within a musical piece by an analysis process applied to an audio signal representing a performance sound of the musical piece, and setting a performance position at a first time point on a time axis within the musical piece to a performance position corresponding to a time series of the performance positions estimated by the analysis process in a selection period prior to and spaced away from the first time point within the musical piece.
Apparatus, system, and method for recording and rendering multimedia
An apparatus may be designed to enable a user to receive, record, display, edit, arrange, re-arrange, play, loop, extend, export and import audio and video data. The audio and video data to be organized as, for example, but not limited to, a song comprised of song parts. The song parts may be comprised of tracks, and each track may be comprised of one or more layers. The various methods and systems disclosed herein incorporate such data segmentation to enable the user to intuitively and hands-free record, arrange, and perform songs comprised of both sequential and parallel tracks. In this way, the looper may enable a musician to record and loop tracks for a song, arrange the tracks into song parts, and during the same session, transition the playback from one song part to another, all the while recording a track on top of the transitioning song parts.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPLEMENTING VIRTUAL PERFORMANCE PARTNER
A method and apparatus for implementing a virtual performance partner are provided. The method includes collecting audio frame data performed by a performer; and for each piece of current audio frame data collected, performing: converting the piece of current audio frame data collected into a current digital score, matching the current digital score with a range of digital scores in a repertoire, and determining a matching digital score in the range of digital scores that matches the current digital score; positioning a position of the matching digital score in the repertoire, and determining a start time of playing a cooperation part of music in a next bar of the matching digital score in the repertoire for a performance partner.
TECHNOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR COLLABORATIVE SONGWRITING AND RIGHTS REGISTRATION THEREFOR
A facility providing technological support for the initiation, performance, and/or registration of a collaborative songwriting project is described.
VIRTUAL TUTORIALS FOR MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS WITH FINGER TRACKING IN AUGMENTED REALITY
Systems, devices, media, and methods are described for presenting a tutorial in augmented reality on the display of a smart eyewear device. The system includes a marker registration utility for setting a marker on a musical instrument, a localization utility for locating the eyewear device relative to the marker location and the instrument, a virtual object rendering utility for presenting a series of virtual tutorial objects on the display near one or more actuators on the instrument, and a hand tracking utility for tracking the performer's finger locations in real time during playback of a song file. A high-definition video camera captures sequences of frames of video data. The series of virtual tutorial objects, in one example, includes graphical elements presented on a virtual scroll that appears to move toward the instrument at a speed correlated with the song tempo. The hand tracking utility calculates a set of expected fingertip coordinates based on a detected hand shape and a library of hand poses and landmarks.
Systems and methods for processing audio signals based on user device parameters
In various applications, the system provides a method for processing audio signals, including: receiving a request for audio content; receiving an identifier encoded in a personal audio device comprising a transducer for playing audio; retrieving at least one parameter associated with the identifier; and processing the audio content using at least the request, the identifier and the at least one parameter, wherein the processing is customized for the personal audio device based on the at least one parameter associated with the identifier. In various applications the parameter is, one or more of, associated with a specification of the personal audio device, acoustic metrics of the transducer, relates to control of equalization, relates to permission to enable proprietary sonic processing for enhanced acoustic reception of streaming content, relates to acoustic metrics of the transducer and wherein the identifier is associated with permission to enable proprietary sonic processing for enhanced acoustic reception of streaming content, and/or is stored in a chip on the personal audio device, is retrieved from a server in a network, among other things. In various applications, the personal audio device comprises ear buds and the identifier is stored in a non-volatile memory of the ear buds.
Musical instrument pickup signal processing system
Systems and methods for creating a digital audio filter, such as an impulse response filter, using a pickup audio signal provided to an instrument signal capture device and a microphone signal provided to a mobile device are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method includes capturing a first audio signal using a signal capture device, performing frequency analysis on the digitized first audio signal to generate a frequency response spectrum representation, transmitting the frequency response spectrum representation of the first audio signal from the signal capture device to a mobile device, capturing a second audio signal using a microphone on the mobile device, performing frequency analysis on the at least one digitized second audio signal using the mobile device to generate a frequency response spectrum representation, and generating a digital audio filter from the frequency response spectrum representations of the first audio signal and the second audio signal.
Methods and systems for performing and recording live music near live with no latency
Exemplary methods include a processor executing instructions stored in a memory for generating an electronic count-in, binding it to a first performance to generate a master clock and transmitting a first musician's first performance and first timing information to a network caching, storage, timing and mixing module. The first musician's first performance may be recorded locally at full resolution and transmitted to a full resolution media server and the first timing information may be transmitted to the master clock. The first musician's first performance is transmitted to a sound device of a second musician and the second musician creates a second performance, transmits it and second timing information to a network caching, storage, timing and mixing module. The first and second performances are mixed along with the first and the second timing information to generate a first mixed audio, which can be transmitted to a sound device of a third musician.
