Portable Music Production Apparatus
The present disclosure provides a portable music production apparatus which a USB interface for connecting to a computer device, the apparatus comprises a first control element which is configured to provide a pitch bend functionality and a second control element which can be assigned to modulate any parameter a user desires like a modulation wheel. The apparatus can also be provided with additional programmable control elements.
Vibrato arm and system
A manual vibrato control device, system and processing arrangement are disclosed. A manual vibrato includes a rotatable shaft, a raised cam section on the shaft, first and second biased collars received on the shaft either side of the cam section, the bias of the first collar being rotationally opposite to the bias of the second collar such that as the shaft rotates in one direction, it receives a return force from the first collar but does not rotate the second collar, and vice versa. Also disclosed are processing techniques to take the rotational data from rotational sensors, preferably Hall Effect, on the shaft and generate pitch change instructions for a pitch modification device. The mapping is user controllable to produce desired effects and performance.
Fulcrum tremolo spring locking claw and claw resonator plate
Sonic improvement for all stringed instruments that employ a fulcrum tremolo bridge system with back of instrument counter tensioning springs. The improvement is provided by securing springs to claw assembly, as well as securing claw assemble to a flat plate of material which is in turn secured to instrument body. The claw and resonator plate can be fabricated as two individual pieces then fastened together or as a combined one piece assemble that is then fastened to instrument body.
FOLDABLE STRINGED INSTRUMENT
A foldable stringed instrument, for example in the form of a travel guitar that folds mid-neck to assume a reduced profile is described. The mid-neck folding is accomplished in a symmetrical manner about a three-part hinge located in the neck to configure the travel guitar into a reduced profile. The bridge assembly can be translated longitudinally relative to the head of the guitar to allow sufficient detensioning of the guitar strings to enable an upper portion of the neck to be folded away from a lower portion of the neck and/or body to assume a reduced profile. To deploy the travel guitar for playing, the upper portion of the neck is unfolded into alignment with the lower portion of the neck and/or body, and the bridge assembly translated longitudinally relative to the head and locked in position to allow the guitar to be tuned for playing.
SOUND SIGNAL SYNTHESIS METHOD, GENERATIVE MODEL TRAINING METHOD, SOUND SIGNAL SYNTHESIS SYSTEM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A computer-implemented sound signal synthesis method includes: generating, based on first control data representative of a plurality of conditions of a sound signal to be generated, (i) first data representative of a sound source spectrum of the sound signal, and (ii) second data representative of a spectral envelope of the sound signal; and synthesizing the sound signal based on the sound source spectrum indicated by the first data and the spectral envelope indicated by the second data.
Electronic wind instrument and key operation detection method
An electronic wind instrument and key operation detection method are provided. The electronic wind instrument includes an instrument body and a plurality of keys which have an operation surface operated by a player's finger and are provided on an external surface of the instrument body. Among the plurality of keys, at least two keys disposed to sandwich or surround a predetermined region comprise restriction parts formed on the operation surfaces. The restriction parts restrict escape of the player's finger from between the at least two keys having the restriction parts formed thereon.
Electronic control arm for musical instruments
An electronic vibrato system for a stringed instrument comprises an actuator and microcontroller which are disposed within a chassis. The control arm moves the actuator from a resting position to non-resting, rotated positions. The system is below a face of a stringed instrument such that the system has a disposed fulcrum within the instrument. The rotated positions impart resistive forces on said actuator and imparting control signals. The microcontroller processes said control signal and modulates pitch.

ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT AND KEY OPERATION DETECTION METHOD
An electronic musical instrument includes an instrument body and a plurality of keys, each of which has an operation surface operated by a player's finger is provided on an external surface of the instrument body. Among the plurality of keys, at least two keys are disposed to be adjacent to each other, and the operation surfaces of the at least two keys are configured to be inclined to descend toward between the at least two keys when viewed from a left-right direction of the electronic musical instrument.
