20230099808 · 2023-03-30 · ·

Provided are systems and methods for transforming a digital score file into one or more of a plurality of levels of simplified visualization outputs. Methods of the present invention may be computer implemented. Systems of the present invention may include at least one display device, a non-transitory memory having instructions embedded thereon, and a processor in communication with the non-transitory memory and the at least one display device. Systems and methods of the present invention may be configured to receive at least one digital score file, upon which one or more simplification rules are executed, resulting in at least one simplified visualization output. Simplification rules may include, but are not limited to, song length, tempo adjustment, tie, rhythm, harmonic rhythm, and chord. One or more simplified visualization outputs are then provided.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING AUDIO-FILE LOOP-PLAYBACK FUNCTIONALITY

Systems and methods for providing audio-file loop-playback functionality are provided. The system includes a processor that performs a method including setting a playback loop start-point based on a first selection of a button; setting a loop end-point, associating a loop with an audio file, and entering into the loop based on a second selection of the button; and exiting the loop based on a third selection of the button. Associating the loop with the audio file includes adding metadata to the audio file. The metadata associates the loop with a button. The method includes reentering the loop based on a fourth selection of the button and exiting the loop based on a fifth selection of the button.

AUTOMATED GENERATION OF AUDIO TRACKS
20230197042 · 2023-06-22 ·

Conventionally, significant time and effort are required to construct audio tracks. Disclosed embodiments enable automation of audio tracks using templates that associate sound generator(s) with template section(s). Each template enables a model to automatically generate unique audio tracks in which the sections and/or sounds are probabilistically determined. Certain embodiments introduce additional variability into the automated generation of audio tracks. In addition, the model may generate the audio tracks, note by note, to ensure that no copyrights are infringed.

NAVIGATION AND INTERACTION CONTROLS FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL ENVIRONMENTS
20170352186 · 2017-12-07 ·

The techniques disclosed herein enable a user of a host computer or a user of a remote computer to locate, view, control, and modify objects of a virtual environment. Embodiments disclosed herein can include the generation of a graphical user interface providing a two-dimensional display showing objects at a predetermined elevation of a three-dimensional virtual environment. User interface controls are provided for changing the elevation of the two-dimensional display. The two-dimensional display can be updated to show different elevations as the controls are used to select a new elevation. In some embodiments, the two-dimensional display enables users to move objects of a virtual reality environment. The display can bring highlight to select objects enabling users to readily locate desired objects and locations. The features disclosed herein can be utilized by a computer hosting a virtual reality session or a remote computer operating a companion application.

BEAT SOUND GENERATION TIMING GENERATING DEVICE, BEAT SOUND GENERATION TIMING GENERATING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM

An information processing device executes: a process of generating, from inputted data of a musical piece, a plurality of intensity data in a predetermined time interval, each of the plurality of intensity data indicating a timing governing a beat of the musical piece and a power at the timing; a process of calculating a cycle and a phase of the beat of the musical piece by using the plurality of intensity data for each of the time intervals; a process of detecting a generation timing of a beat sound based on the calculated cycle and the calculated phase of the beat of the musical piece; and a process of setting one of a wide range and a narrow range narrower than the wide range as a BPM range to be used for calculation of the cycle and the phase of the beat for each of the time intervals.

Handheld musical instrument with control buttons
20230178056 · 2023-06-08 ·

A handheld musical instrument for playing a variety of audio program, the handheld musical instrument comprising a body portion with one or more sensors and a handle portion coupled to said body part, wherein said handle portion includes one or more operational buttons to control the operation of said handheld musical instrument. The buttons being operated with a finger or thumb trigger.

Separate isolated and resonance samples for a virtual instrument

A virtual instrument can manage separate static and dynamic samples for various notes that can be played by the virtual instrument. In some cases, the static samples correspond to resonance sounds recorded for an instrument and are the same for every note. However, the dynamic samples may correspond to isolated sounds that are recorded for each variation of a note that can be played. In response to a user's selection of a note on a user interface of the virtual instrument, the virtual instrument may determine a rule for layering the various static and dynamic samples for playback.

Learning progression for intelligence based music generation and creation

An artificial intelligence (AI) method includes generating a first musical interaction behavioral model. The first musical interaction behavioral model causes an interactive electronic device to perform a first set of musical operations and a first set of motional operations. The AI method further includes receiving user inputs received in response to the performance of the first set of musical operations and the first set of motional operations and determining a user learning progression level based on the user inputs. In response to determining that the user learning progression level is above a threshold, the AI method includes generating a second musical interaction behavioral model. The second musical interaction behavioral model causes the interactive electronic device to perform a second set of musical operations and a second set of motional operations. The AI method further includes performing the second set of musical operations and the second set of motional operations.
