COMPUTER-BASED SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR GENERATING MUSICAL COMPOSITIONS THAT ARE SYNCHRONIZED TO VIDEO
20210407483 · 2021-12-30 ·

Computer-based systems, devices, and methods for generating musical compositions that are purposefully synchronized with video are described. A video timeline is defined with various time-markers that demarcate specific events in the video. A music timeline is generated based on the video timeline. The music timeline preserves the various time-markers from the video timeline. A computer-based musical composition system generates a musical composition based on the music timeline. The musical composition includes various musical events that align, synchronize, or coincide with the time-markers such that when the video and musical composition are played together the musical events align, synchronize, or coincide with the demarcated events in the video.

COMPUTER-BASED SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR GENERATING AESTHETIC CHORD PROGRESSIONS AND KEY MODULATIONS IN MUSICAL COMPOSITIONS
20210407477 · 2021-12-30 ·

Computer-based systems, devices, and methods for automatically generating aesthetic chord progressions and key modulations in musical compositions are described. Known harmonic relationships are expanded upon to produce a much richer set of harmonic transition probability models compared to conventional music theory, and these models are leveraged by a computer-based musical composition system to generate new musical compositions and variations of existing musical compositions. Techniques for enabling a computer-based musical composition system to automatically determine when to introduce a key modulation, what key to module to, and what chord progression(s) to use within the new key are all described.

METHOD FOR MUSIC COMPOSITION EMBODYING A SYSTEM FOR TEACHING THE SAME

A computer-implemented method for music composition embodying a system for teaching the same is provided. Each composition is retrievably stored as music data selectively broken apart into different elemental portions for generating and teaching the composition of hundreds of thousands of additional songs or accompaniments for over 40 musical instruments and all types of human voices. The present invention is adapted to allow the melodies of the additional songs or accompaniments to automatically change the range in order to accommodate the notes range of the selected instrument or human voice.

Digital sight-singing piano with a fixed-solfège keyboard, continuous keys and adjustable tones by kneading piano keys

A digital sight-singing piano is disclosed with a fixed-solfge keyboard, continuous keys and adjustable tones by kneading piano keys, wherein the key can be varied continuously and the frequency of a piano key can be slightly adjusted by kneading the piano key during playing. The keyboard of the digital sight-singing piano has fixed solfge, wherein no matter what key is used for playing, the piano keys in a solfge key set always have the same correspondence to the solfge syllables of the numbered musical notation in one octave. A color graphic vector numbered musical notation is also disclosed, wherein extended solfge is used to describe pitch, different colors are used to indicate the positions of the piano keys to press, notation frames with fixed width are used to represent the beat unit, and font (i.e., bold or not) of musical notes are used to show the strength of pressing piano keys. The color graphic vector numbered musical notation is suitable for computer-aided notation. It can be exhibited in several different types and provide multi-dimension playing information. The color graphic vector numbered musical notation can also be combined with the fixed-solfge keyboard to facilitate sight-singing and make it easy to learn to play the piano.

Transduction of Electrical Signals into Magnetic Fields and Soundwaves

At least one electronic signal is converted into at least one electromagnetic field, where the electronic signal may be created or modulated by environmental, interactive, and programmed inputs. The at least one electromagnetic field vibrates a ferromagnetic element creating an acoustic sound and optionally a transducer converts the vibration into an electronic signal for processing.

Techniques are disclosed herein for generating harmonious audio. An input for changing a mode of an electronic device from a first mode to a second mode can be received and, in response, a controller of the electronic device can modify electrical connections between a matrix circuit and a set of keys of the electronic device. In modifying the electrical connections, a set of tones associated with a first subset of keys of the set of keys can be associated with a second subset of keys of the set of keys. Keys of the second subset of keys can be adjacent to at least one other key of the second subset of keys and tones of the set of tones can be associated with respective keys of the second subset of keys. Audio output when one key is operated can be harmonious with audio output when other keys are operated.
