Band-pass filtering adaptive response method and system for music lamp strip

The present invention provides a band-pass filtering adaptive response method and system for music lamp strip. The method comprises the following steps: Step 1: obtaining sound data acquired by a microphone in real time, and sequentially filtering the obtained sound data through a low-pass filter; Step 2: classifying the filtered sound data by a volume classifier, so as to classify the continuous changes of sound into a number of discrete classifications; Step 3: determining a BPM of the sound data according to a classification result of the volume classifier; Step 4: determining a acquisition frequency of MCU according to the determined BPM; Step 5: acquiring the classification result of the volume classifier by MCU according to the determined acquisition frequency; Step 6: controlling color change and/or brightness change of LED lamp on the music lamp strip according to the classification result acquired by MCU.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PACING REPETITIVE MOTION ACTIVITIES
20230197046 · 2023-06-22 ·

Disclosed is a system and method that allows users to customize audible and visible signals, such as music or video, to maintain a pre-determined or specified pace or to achieve a new pace in repetitive motion activities such as, but not limited to, running, walking, swimming, cycling, aerobics, and the like. Other applications of the system and method include, but are not limited to, enhancing the results of medical rehabilitation programs, physical therapy, weight loss programs, disc jockey services, and industries or manufacturing settings where repetitive motion is common and where audible cues designed to help users maintain a consistent pace are useful.

SCALABLE SIMILARITY-BASED GENERATION OF COMPATIBLE MUSIC MIXES

Scalable similarity-based generation of compatible music mixes. Music clips are projected in a pitch interval space for computing musical compatibility between the clips as distances or similarities in the pitch interval space. The distance or similarity between clips reflects the degree to which clips are harmonically compatible. The distance or similarity in the pitch interval space between a candidate music clip and a partial mix can be used to determine if the candidate music clip is harmonically compatible with the partial mix. An indexable feature space may be both beats-per-minute (BPM)-agnostic and musical key-agnostic such that harmonic compatibility can be quickly determined among potentially millions of music clips. A graphical user interface-based user application allows users to easily discover combinations of clips from a library that result in a perceptually high-quality mix that is highly consonant and pleasant-sounding and reflects the principles of musical harmony.

Method and system for timed event evaluation

A timing unit and method useable with a computer and user input includes a circuit and a timer. The timer establishes a reference signal having periodic occurrence and receives a trigger signal from the user input. The circuit generates information that represents the periodic occurrences of the reference signal and response timing data representing a relationship between the trigger signal and one of the occurrences. A communication channel is provided between the circuit and the computer.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GROUPING AUDIO EVENTS IN AN ELECTRONIC PERCUSSION DEVICE
