DUAL KEYBOARD SUSTAIN PEDAL STABILIZER
20230047082 · 2023-02-16 ·

The dual keyboard sustain pedal stabilizer is designed for use with a pair of keyboard sustain foot pedals. The dual keyboard sustain pedal stabilizer comprises a stabilizer base, a first pedal-retention area in cooperative engagement with the stabilizer base, a second pedal-retention area in cooperative engagement with the stabilizer base, and an underside of the stabilizer base having a non-slip surface. The first and second pedal-retention areas each include retaining structures proximate to the stabilizer base. The retaining structures enable secure retention of the keyboard sustain foot pedals within the pedal retention area. The dual keyboard sustain pedal stabilizer provides stable footing for the musician on damp floors for both feet while providing a dual keyboard sustain pedal stabilizer that stabilizes either one or two keyboard sustain foot pedals. The dual keyboard sustain pedal stabilizer has no moving parts and is compatible with essentially any keyboard sustain foot pedal.

Provided are a control device, a control method and a control system. In a control system, a headphone and a pedal device are in communication with each other through first communication, and the pedal device and a portable terminal are in communication with each other through second communication. Accordingly, even when the headphone can be connected to only one control device, a control instruction from the pedal device can be transmitted to the headphone through the first communication, and a control instruction from the portable terminal can be transmitted to the headphone through the second communication and the first communication.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LEARNING TO PLAY A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
20230024727 · 2023-01-26 ·

A method and system for teaching oneself to learn to play a string instrument and master it by analyzing ones real-time hand/finger movement/technique/form, enabling oneself to progress and correct ones own mistakes simultaneously. In one aspect, a system for learning to play a string instrument is provided that includes a simulation instrument that includes a plurality of strings, wherein at least one of the strings includes at least one-touch sensing sensor thereon in communication with at least one processor to receive a signal from the at least one touch-sensing sensor and determine therefrom when and where on the at least one string a user applies pressure to the at least one string.

SIDE-TO-SIDE SWIVELLING GUITAR VOLUME PEDAL
20230230566 · 2023-07-20 ·

Rather than a vertical see-saw type of volume pedal for a guitar, a foot-controlled volume pedal for a guitar has a foot pad that swivels in a generally horizontal arc around a pivot point. The foot pad has a pointer at its far end (away from the pivot point) that points to the volume numbers 0-10. The player's heel will generally be over, or close to, the pivot point, and the foot covers the pad or part of the pad. The pivot point comprises a rotatable shaft that is coupled to a smaller rotatable shaft of a conventional potentiometer, by friction, gears, or a belt, for controlling the volume into the guitar amplifier. The rotation ratio of the two shafts may be, for example, 6:1. The swivel arc may be large (e.g., 5-8 inches) so a precise volume can be set between 0-10.

Expanding Pedalboard
20230215408 · 2023-07-06 ·

The invention describes a pedalboard for holding instrument effect pedals (guitar, bass, etc) which stores two layers of instrument effect pedals upon vertically stacked platforms for more compact storage but which can also be opened/expanded using a four-bar linkage mechanism to allow for access to the lower effect pedals during musical performance or practice. The upper platform may be disconnected from the front links and can pivot upward to allow for further access to the lower platform.

ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT, ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT CONTROLLING METHOD AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM

An electronic musical instrument includes at least one function operator associated with at least one process, and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor executes the followings, deciding that musical performance is being performed or not in response to an operation to the at least one function operator, in response to deciding that the musical performance is being performed, executing the at least one process associated with the at least one function operator, and in response to deciding that the musical performance is not being performed, not executing the process associated with the at least one function operator, despite being operated to the at least one function operator.

SENSOR MODULE, SYSTEM OF MODULES FOR A PIANO KEYBOARD, AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
20230098657 · 2023-03-30 ·

Different aspects of the invention implement a sensor module that can be configured as a keyboard module or as a pedal module, allowing to connect a plurality of keyboard and pedal modules to assemble a configuration to the user’s liking, such as, for example, the usual configuration of an 87-key piano together with two pedals. The sensor module transmits information about detected key or pedal strokes to a computer application for playback, either aural or visual. At the same time, the sensor module allows, both in the keyboard module and pedal module configuration, to transmit the feeling of playing a real piano.

KEYBOARD DEVICE FOR KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT
20230101297 · 2023-03-30 ·

A keyboard device for a keyboard instrument includes a keyboard chassis having a plurality of partition walls, a plurality of keys, and a plurality of hammers pivotally moved along with key depression. Let-off members are removably mounted on one of each adjacent two of the partition walls and one of the hammers disposed between the adjacent two partition walls. Engagement portions are provided on the other of each adjacent two of the partition walls and the one of the hammers disposed between the adjacent two partition walls. The engagement portions are temporarily engaged with the let-off members during pivotal movement of the hammer along with depression of a key, to thereby add let-off feeling to touch feeling of the depressed key.

KEY FOR KEYBOARD DEVICE

A key for a keyboard device includes a resin key body and one or a plurality of woody boards attached along at least part of a side surface of the key body. The key body includes an upper convex part which extends along an upper end of the side surface and is formed continuous with on upper surface of the key body such that it protrudes in a lateral direction of the key body, and a lower supporting protrusion which is disposed in the vicinity of a central portion or a lower end of the side surface such that it protrudes in a lateral direction of the key body and is opposed to the upper convex part. The woody board is sandwiched by the upper convex part and the lower supporting protrusion.
