Sound source file structure, recording medium recording the same, and method of producing sound source file
The present disclosure relates to a sound source file structure, to output lyrics as audible sounds right before melodies corresponding to the lyrics start, to help a user to remind the lyrics based on accompaniment for a song after the accompaniment starts to be provided, and to help the user to sing based on correct lyrics corresponding to the melodies. The sound source file structure may include one or more backing sound source layers in which backing sounds based on beats and rhythms are placed, a melody sound source layer in which melody notes corresponding to lyrics based on beats and rhythms and a rest section corresponding to a rest are placed, and a lyric voice source layer in which a lyric voice is placed at a position corresponding to a rest section.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZING PERFORMANCE EFFECTS WITH MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
A system and a method for synchronizing performance effects with a musical performance. The method includes receiving a MIDI signal representing an audio track currently being played; determining, in near real-time, a tempo value of the said audio track based on a corresponding clock speed information as obtained from the MIDI signal; receiving information about a video file selected to be played along with the said audio track; determining, in near real-time, a tempo value of the said video file based on the received information thereabout; processing the said video file to determine required playback speed adjustment therefor to cause the tempo value of the said video to be in sync with the determined tempo value of the said audio track; and playing the said video file with the required playback speed adjustment applied thereto, along with the audio track in the musical performance.
Wireless communication device, wireless communication method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
A wireless communication device and a wireless communication method capable of curbing occurrence of latency even when performing wireless communication at predetermined time intervals are provided. MIDI data is transmitted and received by communication (B) performed through a wireless module during an intermission between communications (A) performed at predetermined time intervals through the wireless module. Accordingly, a communication speed for wireless communication is improved. Therefore, compared to a case in which wireless communication is performed by only the communication (A), MIDI data can be quickly transmitted and received, and thus occurrence of latency can be curbed.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
This information processing device comprises: a control unit which receives an input of information indicating one or more timings in a playback time of a piece of music, and generates a file including information pertaining to a timbre control performed from each of the one or more timings; and a transmission unit which transmits an audio signal of the piece of music and the information pertaining to the timbre control in the file to a device which outputs a synthesized sound of the playback sound of the piece of music and the playing sound of a musical instrument.
TRANSMISSION DEVICE, TRANSMISSION METHOD, RECEPTION DEVICE AND RECEPTION METHOD
A new interface is provided that supports simultaneous transmission of an audio signal and a MIDI signal. Signals consecutive in predetermined units are transmitted to a reception side via a predetermined transmission path. The signals consecutive in the predetermined units include a signal of a first predetermined unit of the predetermined units including an audio signal and a signal of a second predetermined unit of the predetermined units including a MIDI signal. For example, the audio signal is a linear PCM signal constituting a stereo 2-channel audio signal. For example, the MIDI signal includes packet data of a predetermined length, and the packet data of the predetermined length is divided into a plurality of pieces, and transmitted by being included in signals of a plurality of pieces of the second predetermined units.
SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE
A signal processing device includes: connecting terminals, each of which is connectable to respective ones of a plurality of other signal processing devices that are different from the subject signal processing device; an analog bus connected to the connecting terminals; an input terminal connected to the analog bus and that accepts an input of an audio signal; and an output terminal connected to the analog bus and that outputs an audio signal to a sound emitting device.

MIDI CONTROLLER AND SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTING MEDIA THEREWITH
A musical instrument digital interface (MIDI) controller is provided. It has a housing having a hollow interior portion, a first audio jack and a second audio jack positioned on the housing, wherein the first audio jack is configured to accept a first audio signal from an electronic music instrument, and wherein the second audio jack is configured to accept a second audio signal from a microphone, a conversion module configured to receive the first signal from the first audio jack and the second signal from the second audio jack, wherein the conversion module is configured to transform the first signal into an outgoing digital signal and retain the second signal in a database and an output module configured to utilize the outgoing digital signal and the retained second signal from the database, and output both signals as a dual signal of audio and digital outputs during a user performance.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING A MIXED AUDIO FILE IN A DIGITAL AUDIO WORKSTATION
An electronic device receives a source audio file from a user of a digital audio workstation and a target MIDI file, the target MIDI file comprising digital representations for a series of notes. The electronic device generates a series of sounds from the target MIDI file, each respective sound in the series of sounds corresponding to a respective note in the series of notes. The electronic device divides the source audio file into a plurality of segments. For each sound in the series of sounds, the electronic device matches a segment from the plurality of segments to the sound based on a weighted combination of features identified for the corresponding sound. The electronic device generates an audio file in which the series of sounds from the target MIDI file are replaced with the matched segment corresponding to each sound.
