A computer device (100), configured to encode identifiers by providing audio identifiers therefrom, is described. The computer device (100) is configured to provide a set of audio signals as respective bitstreams. Each audio signal of the set of audio signals is defined based, at least in part, on audio signal information including at least one of a type, a fundamental frequency, a time signature and a time. Each audio signal comprises a set of audio segments. Each audio segment of the set of audio segments is defined based, at least in part, on audio segment information including at least one of a frequency, an amplitude, a transform, a time duration and an envelope. The computer device (100) is configured to receive an identifier and select a subset of audio signals from the set of audio signals according to the received identifier based, at least in part, on the audio signal information and/or the audio segment information. The computer device (100) is configured to process the audio selected subset of audio signals by combining the selected subset of audio signals to provide an audio identifier. The computer device (100) is configured to output the audio identifier in an output audio signal as an output bitstream, wherein the audio identifier encodes the identifier. Also described is a method of encoding identifiers by providing audio identifiers therefrom.

A method is described comprising receiving a stem signal and an audio mix signal, wherein the audio mix signal comprises information of the stem signal. The method includes applying a first transform to the stem signal to provide a first stem spectrum, applying a second transform to the stem signal to provide a second stem spectrum, generating a plurality of mix signals using the audio mix signal, applying a first transform to each mix signal of the plurality of mix signals to provide a corresponding first mix signal spectrum, applying a second transform to each mix signal of the plurality of mix signals to provide a corresponding second mix signal spectrum, and using information of the first stem spectrum, the second stem spectrum, a first mix signal spectrum, or a second mix signal spectrum to detect the information of the stem signal in the audio mix signal.

Systems, devices, and methods for harmonic structure in digital representations of music

Systems, devices, and methods for encoding the harmonic structure of a musical composition in a digital data structure are described. Tonal and rhythmic commonalities are identified across the musical bars that make up a musical composition. Individual bars of the musical composition are each analyzed to characterize their respective harmonic fingerprints in various forms, and the respective harmonic fingerprints are compared to sort the musical bars into harmonic equivalence categories. Isomorphic mappings between hierarchical data structures that encode the musical composition based on musicality and harmony, respectively, are also described. The systems, devices, and methods for encoding the harmonic structure of a musical composition in a digital data structure have broad applicability in computer-based composition and variation of music.

A method for synchronizing an electronic interactive device on basis of a first sound track is provided. The method may include identifying a first peak point and a valley point of the first sound track by calculating a first energy of the first peak point and a first energy of the valley point of the first peak point and comparing the first energy of the first peak point with first energy of neighboring points of the first peak point. The method may also include identifying a first peak point of a second soundtrack, and determining a similarity between the first soundtrack and a second sound track on basis of the first peak point of the first soundtrack and the first peak point of the second sound track.
