SCALABLE MULTIUSER AUDIO SYSTEM AND METHOD
Described are systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for wireless in-ear-monitoring (IEM) of audio. A system includes transmitter(s) configured to map orthogonal sub-carriers of a digital signal to narrowband receivers to form receiver-allocated audio channels, modulate the digital signal, and transmit the signal as an ultra-high frequency (UHF) analog carrier wave comprising the orthogonal sub-carriers to the nearby receiver. A narrowband receiver is configured to demodulate and sample the sub-carriers allocated to the receiver. Sub-carriers can be positioned orthogonal to one another in adjacent sub-bands of the frequency domain and beacon symbols and pilot signals can be iteratively provided in the same portion of the frequency domain for each channel. The receiver can use non-data-aided and data-aided approaches for synchronization of the time domain and frequency domain waveforms of the received signal to the transmitted signal prior to sampling the allocated sub-carriers.
Audiovisual content rendering with display animation suggestive of geolocation at which content was previously rendered
Techniques have been developed to facilitate (1) the capture and pitch correction of vocal performances on handheld or other portable computing devices and (2) the mixing of such pitch-corrected vocal performances with backing tracks for audible rendering on targets that include such portable computing devices and as well as desktops, workstations, gaming stations, even telephony targets. Implementations of the described techniques employ signal processing techniques and allocations of system functionality that are suitable given the generally limited capabilities of such handheld or portable computing devices and that facilitate efficient encoding and communication of the pitch-corrected vocal performances (or precursors or derivatives thereof) via wireless and/or wired bandwidth-limited networks for rendering on portable computing devices or other targets.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a display device and a display system for providing lyrics when reproducing music of the external device, regardless of a connection state of an external device. The display device includes: a display; a controller configured to receive a music reproduction command through an external device; and an audio output interface configured to output music received from the external device, wherein, when the controller receives the music reproduction command, the controller is configured to request lyric information to the external device, and when the controller receives the lyric information from the external device, the controller is configured to display lyrics through the display while outputting the music.
Integrated karaoke device
The present invention discloses an integrated karaoke device, including a microphone and a sound box. The sound box includes a sound chamber containing a loudspeaker. The integrated karaoke device further includes a connecting part made of flexible material that is fixedly connected between a bottom of the microphone and a top of the sound chamber. The use of a flexible material connecting part rather than a solid structural part reduces the transmission to the microphone of sound vibration generated by the sound box. The beneficial effect of implementing the present invention is that a flexible material connecting part is fixedly connected between the bottom of the microphone and the top of the sound chamber, and meanwhile, a gap is kept between the bottom of a printed circuit board (PCB) and the top of the sound chamber; and because the flexible material connecting part can effectively reduce sound vibration, the transmission of vibration to the microphone from the sound box can be effectively eliminated, thereby preventing squealing, and enabling integration of the microphone and the sound box for use in karaoke.
PICKUPS FOR ENHANCED PLAYABILITY OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENT, STRINGED INSTRUMENT WITH PICKUPS, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PICKUPS
A pickup, a stringed instrument, and a pickup control method are disclosed. The pickup comprises: pickup components(110), multi-touch screens(130) and processing components(140). The multi-touch screens(130) and the processing components(140) are connected. The pickup components(110) and the processing components(140) are connected. The pickup components(110) is configured to pick up sound information emitted by a musical instrument. The multi-touch screen(130) is configured to display function application information that is selected from a group consisting of timbre adjustment function application information, tone adjustment function application information, and equalizer adjustment function application information. The multi-touch screen is configured to receive a function triggering instruction. The multi-touch screen displays information as to functional applications available through the pickup capabilities. Control functions available to a user are expanded beyond control by a single knob as in the prior art, the playing experience of a user on the instrument is enhanced.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR DIALS AND SWITCHES, BRACKET APPARATUS, AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A a control system for dials and switches allows one or more dials and/or switches to be controlled remotely via a wired or a wireless communication. Preferably, the control system is utilized by a user with one or more expression pedals and/or a footswitches to control audio equipment, such as, for example, an amplifier or other audio processor apparatus. Methods of using the same are further provided.
EFFECTS UNIT DEVICE HAVING PHYSICAL AND VIRTUAL SIGNAL PROCESSING UTILITIES
A system and method for an adaptable effects unit is provided. In one aspect, the system allows users to manipulate audio signals transmitted from a musical instrument prior to being output by a speaker. In another aspect, the system allows users to create virtual signal chains that may be used to alter audio signals of a musical instrument without the need of multiple effects units. In yet another aspect, the system may be used in a way that allows a user to customize the controls of a physical effects unit so that the controls better suit the user's needs. Generally, the system allows users alter and customize a physical effects unit via a user interface of a computing device. The physical effects unit is configured in a way such that it may receive instructions from the computing device.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, TERMINAL, SERVER AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
A communication system including a terminal, an electronic device, and a server is provided. The terminal includes a login part logging in to the server, an identifier reception part receiving a device identifier corresponding to a user who has logged in, and a terminal instruction transmission part transmitting to the server the device identifier received by the identifier reception part and an instruction for the electronic device. The server includes an identifier storage part storing a user identifier in association with the device identifier of the electronic device corresponding to the user, an identifier transmission part acquiring device identifier corresponding to the user identifier and transmitting the device identifier to the terminal, a first server instruction reception part receiving the device identifier and the instruction for the electronic device, and a server instruction transmission part transmitting the received instruction to the electronic device corresponding to the received device identifier.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, DATA USAGE METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An electronic device and a data usage method are provided. An electronic musical instrument confirms whether respective sound data stored in a timbre memory or a wave memory can be used or cannot be used based on management information acquired from a server. A sound data determined to be usable in the management information is validated so that it can be used for loading or writing. On the other hand, a sound data determined to be unusable in the management information is invalidated so that it cannot be used.
CAR KARAOKE
A motor vehicle includes a loudspeaker, a voice recognition module, and a microphone producing a microphone signal based upon words uttered by a human passenger within a passenger compartment of the motor vehicle. An electronic processor is communicatively coupled to the microphone, the loudspeaker, and the voice recognition module. The electronic processor receives the microphone signal and communicates with the voice recognition module to thereby ascertain the words uttered by the human passenger. The electronic processor retrieves Karaoke music corresponding to the ascertained words uttered by the human passenger, and plays the Karaoke music on the loudspeaker.
