CONTROL DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD AND CONTROL SYSTEM
Provided are a control device, a control method and a control system. In a control system, a headphone and a pedal device are in communication with each other through first communication, and the pedal device and a portable terminal are in communication with each other through second communication. Accordingly, even when the headphone can be connected to only one control device, a control instruction from the pedal device can be transmitted to the headphone through the first communication, and a control instruction from the portable terminal can be transmitted to the headphone through the second communication and the first communication.
Wireless communication device, wireless communication method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
A wireless communication device and a wireless communication method capable of curbing occurrence of latency even when performing wireless communication at predetermined time intervals are provided. MIDI data is transmitted and received by communication (B) performed through a wireless module during an intermission between communications (A) performed at predetermined time intervals through the wireless module. Accordingly, a communication speed for wireless communication is improved. Therefore, compared to a case in which wireless communication is performed by only the communication (A), MIDI data can be quickly transmitted and received, and thus occurrence of latency can be curbed.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
This information processing device comprises: a control unit which receives an input of information indicating one or more timings in a playback time of a piece of music, and generates a file including information pertaining to a timbre control performed from each of the one or more timings; and a transmission unit which transmits an audio signal of the piece of music and the information pertaining to the timbre control in the file to a device which outputs a synthesized sound of the playback sound of the piece of music and the playing sound of a musical instrument.
TECHNIQUES OF COORDINATING SENSORY EVENT TIMELINES OF MULTIPLE DEVICES
Embodiments described herein relate to techniques of coordinating sensory event timelines of multiple devices. The devices may use the sensory even timelines to output sensory events such as audio segments. The devices may take turns determining the sensory events to be output by the devices using their sensory event timelines. The techniques coordinate transitions of the devices between a first mode in which a device is allowed to determine sensory events to be output and a second mode in which a device outputs sensory events determined by another device.
TRANSMISSION DEVICE, TRANSMISSION METHOD, RECEPTION DEVICE AND RECEPTION METHOD
A new interface is provided that supports simultaneous transmission of an audio signal and a MIDI signal. Signals consecutive in predetermined units are transmitted to a reception side via a predetermined transmission path. The signals consecutive in the predetermined units include a signal of a first predetermined unit of the predetermined units including an audio signal and a signal of a second predetermined unit of the predetermined units including a MIDI signal. For example, the audio signal is a linear PCM signal constituting a stereo 2-channel audio signal. For example, the MIDI signal includes packet data of a predetermined length, and the packet data of the predetermined length is divided into a plurality of pieces, and transmitted by being included in signals of a plurality of pieces of the second predetermined units.
Handheld musical instrument with control buttons
A handheld musical instrument for playing a variety of audio program, the handheld musical instrument comprising a body portion with one or more sensors and a handle portion coupled to said body part, wherein said handle portion includes one or more operational buttons to control the operation of said handheld musical instrument. The buttons being operated with a finger or thumb trigger.
ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR THE CONVERSION OF AT LEAST ONE DETECTED FORCE FROM THE MOVEMENT OF A SENSING UNIT INTO AN AUDITORY SIGNAL
An arrangement for the conversion of at least one detected force from the movement of a sensing unit into an auditory signal. The arrangement includes at least one sensor for generating a force signal from the at least one detected force. A processing unit is configured for converting the force signal into a digital auditory signal. An output unit for converting the digital auditory signal into an auditory signal is further included wherein the digital auditory signal includes in formation of acceleration, strength and duration of a single detected force. The present method is used for converting at least one detected force affecting an object into auditory signal, as well as the use of an arrangement according to the present invention for various entertainment and/or therapeutic purposes.
Storage medium, tone generation assigning apparatus and tone generation assigning method
When a harmony function is on state, a generator determines a chord based on one or more notes of depressed keys in a chord kea area, automatically generates one or more additional notes having pitches which harmonizes the pitch of the note of the depressed key in a performance key area according to the determined chord, and inputs the “note of the pressed key in the performance key area+additional notes” to an assignment controller. The assignment controller assigns plural parts (timbres) to the inputted notes, and sounds the notes in timbres of the plural parts according to the assignment. That is, tone generation assignment process is performed regarding not only notes according to performance operation by a user but also automatically generated additional notes.
Instrument pickup
A optoelectronic pickup for a musical instrument includes at least one light source which directs light to impinge a string of the musical instrument in at least one photoreceiver located to detect the reflected light, so as to generate an electrical signal that is responsive to string vibrations. A number of dissimilar filter approaches are included to control undesired effects of spurious light, the filter approaches may be structure-based, signal processing-based, and/or optics-based.
Musical Instrument Interface Device
A musical device between one or more Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) controllers and one or more musical instruments comprises a housing and a plurality of potentiometers on a surface of the housing. A method of mapping music messages using a musical device is provided. The method includes defining a preset value corresponding to a frequency to be received within a MIDI message. Once a MIDI message having the frequency is received by the device, the device uses the data of the MIDI message and the preset value to create a new output MIDI message. The new output message is then transmitted to a sound module for producing a sound that differs from the sound that would have been produced from the MIDI message, had it been received.
