A content control device includes: a plurality of controls to which a plurality of parameters for controlling properties of a content containing at least one of sound and video are respectively assigned, each of the plurality of controls outputting a first indicated value in accordance with an operation amount of the control; and a processor configured to previously create setting information used to determine respective values of the plurality of parameters in accordance with the second indicated value; determine the values of the plurality of parameters corresponding to the second indicated value respectively in accordance with the second indicated value and the setting information; and revise each of the values of the parameters to be determined in accordance with the first indicated value outputted for the control assigned to the parameter.

A computer-implemented sound signal synthesis method includes: generating, based on first control data representative of a plurality of conditions of a sound signal to be generated, (i) first data representative of a sound source spectrum of the sound signal, and (ii) second data representative of a spectral envelope of the sound signal; and synthesizing the sound signal based on the sound source spectrum indicated by the first data and the spectral envelope indicated by the second data.

A sound signal synthesis method includes generating first data representing a deterministic component of a sound signal based on second control data representing conditions of the sound signal, generating, using a first generation model, second data representing a stochastic component of the sound signal based on the first data and first control data representing conditions of the sound signal, and combining the deterministic component represented by the first data and the stochastic component represented by the second data and thereby generating the sound signal.

The neural network has learned a relationship between control data that represents conditions of a sound signal of a reference signal, a deterministic component of the sound signal of the reference signal, and a stochastic component of the sound signal of the reference signal.

An electronic musical instrument outputs synthesized lyrics of a song based on lyric data in accordance with operations by a user. One or more processors in electronic musical instrument generate voice synthesis data for a lyric of the song based on the lyric data for the song at a timing at which said lyric is supposed to be outputted regardless of whether or not a user operation of the operating unit is detected at said timing; when the user operation of the operating unit is detected at said timing, cause voice sound synthesized based on the generated voice synthesis data to be outputted; and when the user operation of the operating unit is not detected at said timing, cause the voice sound synthesized based on the generated voice synthesis data not to be outputted.
