SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NON-CONTACT MANIPULATION OF OBJECTS VIA ULTRASONIC LEVITATION
System and method for non-contact manipulation of objects via ultrasonic levitation are presented herein. In one embodiment, a method for a non-contact manipulation of an object includes: generating ultrasound field by an array of ultrasound transducers; lifting the object off a dispensing device by the ultrasound field; and levitating the object by the ultrasound field.
Cooling fan and noise generation apparatus
Airflow from a blower fan can be adjusted between a cooling air mode where cooling air flows freely to the ambient surroundings and a noise mode where the airflow is partially or fully restricted in order to produce different levels of soothing background noise. The airflow from the fan can be split or divided between varying degrees and combinations of unrestricted airflow, partially restricted airflow and fully restricted airflow to produce a wide range of cooling airflows into the ambient with or without the production of additional background noise. A perforated drum surrounds the fan to form a chamber within which airflow can resonate at various frequencies and amplify noise levels selected by rotating the drum around the fan.

Sound emitting device, sound collecting device, microphone authentication system, and microphone authentication method
In a microphone authentication method, a sound emitting device sends authentication information to a sound collecting device. The sound collecting device receives the authentication information and sends a collected sound signal to the sound emitting device. The sound emitting device receives the collected sound signal sent from the sound collecting device that has received the authentication information within a partitioned space. The sound emitting device emits a sound based on the collected sound signal.
Method and device for reducing and homogenizing residual stress of a component
The present disclosure relates to a method for reducing and homogenizing residual stress of a component, which comprises: detecting stress value(s) of regulation portion(s) of the component; placing the component in a container containing a fluid medium so as to immerse the component in the fluid medium; emitting, by an acoustic wave generator, an elastic wave to the fluid medium in a manner of emitting towards the regulation portion(s) of the component, and determining an emitting period of time and a frequency of the elastic wave based on the stress value(s); returning to the step S1 when the emitting period of time has elapsed, until the stress value(s) is stable. The method and the device solve the problems that it is difficult to reduce and homogenize the residual stress on high-precision machined components, complex structural components, thin-walled structural components, and low-stiffness components.
Motor Vehicle Having an Acoustic Device for Generating and Capturing Acoustic Waves
A motor vehicle includes an acoustic device configured to generate and capture acoustic waves, the acoustic device includes a vehicle part having a vibration region, and an actuator arranged thereon and configured to for excitation and detection of vibrations of the vehicle part in the vibration region, wherein the region is modified compared to an adjacent region of the vehicle part and has greater sensitivity to excitations in the frequency range of the acoustic wave.

TEST INSTRUMENT FOR 5G CPE ANTENNA INSTALLATION
Disclosed are a test instrument and testing methods for audibly providing signal metrics (such as signal strength and/or signal quality) of fifth-generation network (5G) beams to assist installation of 5G Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) antenna at a premises. A test instrument may obtain signal metrics and provide audio output based on the signal metrics at various locations of the premises. The audio output may be transmitted to a headphone device worn by a user. In this manner, the user may select an appropriate location on the premises at which to install the 5G CPE antenna via audible queues that are based on the measured signal metric at a given location. The test instrument may provide fine-tuning capabilities by also audibly providing directional information that indicates where the 5G CPE antenna should be pointed or moved to align the 5G CPE antenna to a 5G beam.

DECREASING A HUMIDITY LEVEL IN AN INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM
In one embodiment, a method for decreasing a humidity level in an information handling system includes: receiving, by a sound field chamber, an incoming airflow, the incoming airflow having a humidity level corresponding to an amount of water vapor in the incoming airflow; identifying, by a humidity controller, the humidity level of the incoming airflow; determining, by the humidity controller, that the humidity level is greater than a threshold humidity level; and in response to determining that the humidity level is greater than the threshold humidity level: causing, by the humidity controller, a sound source of the information handling system to generate a sound field within the sound field chamber, the sound field comprised of sound waves, the sound waves causing an acoustic agglomeration of the water vapor, the acoustic agglomeration causing the humidity level to decrease.
