Vapor and heat removal systems in an optical disc restoration device
The invention pertains in general to devices, systems and methods for removing vapor and heat generated during a restoration cycle in an optical disc restoration device.
Hard Drive Dismantling System
A system and method for reclaiming select components containing rare earth metals of electronic media electronic storage devices such as hard disk drives, solid state drives and hybrid hard drives and destroying the data containing components thereof comprising first devices to loosen various components of the storage device, the components including the components containing the rare earth elements and the data containing portions. Second devices are provided for removing components from the storage device. A holding chassis receives the storage device, and moves the storage device for engagement with the first and second devices. A section is provided for destroying the data containing portion of the electric storage device when it is removed from the storage device.
MAGNETIC DATE ERASER
A magnetic data eraser includes: holding drawer means for holding a magnetic recording medium which means has a mounting tray for mounting the magnetic recording medium, the mounting tray being inclined a predetermined value of degrees of angle, and the iron plate attached at the front side and the rear side of the holding drawer means; magnetizing means for magnetizing the magnetic recording medium, the magnetizing means being configured to be covered by a magnetizing coil and has a hollow body portion, the holding drawer means being mounted in the hollow body portion, and the magnetic recording medium being placed on the mounting tray of the holding drawer means; and Control means for contouring the erase of the magnetic data recorded on the magnetic recording medium by flowing a current to the magnetic coil, and by erasing of data recorded on the magnetic recording medium.
Hard Drive Dismantling System
A system and method reclaims select components containing rare earth metals of electronic media electronic storage devices such as hard disk drives, solid state drives and hybrid hard drives and destroys the data containing components thereof. The system employs first devices, such as milling tools, to loosen various components of the storage device. The various loosened components include the components containing the rare earth metals and the data containing portions. Second devices, such as pick and place mechanisms, are provided for removing components from the storage device. A holding chassis receives the storage device, and moves the storage device for engagement with the first and the second devices. A section is provided for destroying the data containing portion of the electronic media storage device.
Laser destruction system for hard drives
Three systems for the destruction of the data storage portion of electronic media storage devices such as hard disk drives, solid state drives and hybrid hard drives. One system utilizes a mill cutter with which the hard drive has relative motion in the direction of the axis of the mill cutter to destroy the data storage portion. A second system utilizes a laser to physically destroy the data storage portion. The third system utilizes a chemical solvent to chemically destroy the data storage portion.

Second devices are provided for removing components from the storage device. A holding chassis receives the storage device, and moves the storage device for engagement with the first and second devices. A section is provided for destroying the data containing portion of the electric storage device when it is removed from the storage device.
Hardware sanitization and destruction machine
An apparatus for disposal of electronic devices includes a transport mechanism for transferring the storage devices through the apparatus. A scanner scans or reads the devices as the devices move through the apparatus, a sanitizer for degaussing or erasing the storage devices, and a destruction mechanism for physically deforming the devices. The apparatus is further configured to receive scanned information from the scanner, determine identification information for the devices based on the scanned information, and update status information of the devices during movement of the devices between the scanner, sanitizer, and destruction mechanism.
Polishing composition for magnetic disk substrate
Embodiments relate to a polishing composition is an aqueous composition containing at least colloidal silica, wet-process silica particles, and a water-soluble polymer compound. The water-soluble polymer compound is a copolymer containing a monomer having a carboxylic acid group, a monomer having an amide group, and a monomer having a sulfonic acid group as essential monomers.
Friction adjustment mechanisms for optimizing friction between a pad and a disc in an optical disc restoration device
The invention pertains in general to a latching mechanism for maintaining desired friction levels on an optical disc in an optical disc restoration device. In particular the invention pertains to devices, systems and methods for easily maintaining friction levels between pads and an optical disc in an optical disc restoration device for ease of adjusting friction settings during quality control, repair operation or when optimization settings are being set in an optical disc restoration device by a user.
