A method of synchronizing video and audio when recording with a video recording device and an audio recording device configured for wireless data communication with each other including activating a recording at the video recording device, sending an audio recording command from the video recording device to the audio recording device, storing a recorded video data stream in a memory of the video recording device, receiving an audio data stream from the audio recording device at the video recording device and storing in the memory of the video recording device, determining a delay of the stored audio data stream relative to the stored video data stream, and joining the stored audio data stream and the stored video data stream together, taking the determined delay into consideration, in order to provide a recording data stream with synchronized video and audio.

A method to assess user condition for wearable devices using electromagnetic sensors is provided. The method includes receiving a signal from an electromagnetic sensor, the signal being indicative of a health condition of a user of a wearable device, selecting a salient attribute from the signal, and determining, based on the salient attribute, the health condition of the user of the wearable device. The point cloud compression coded bitstream comprises a texture information bitstream, a geometry information bitstream, and an auxiliary metadata bitstream. Relative to the decoding of compressed point clouds, the method, apparatus and computer program product receive a point cloud compression coded bitstream and decode the point cloud compression coded bitstream.

A method of video playback includes obtaining a 3D reconstruction of at least part of an environment, obtaining video footage of an activity within that at least part of the environment, obtaining data indicating a position and orientation of a first camera within the at least part of the environment that recorded the obtained video footage, and rendering a view of the video footage in alignment with a corresponding view of at least part of the 3D reconstruction, responsive to the position and orientation of the first camera within the at least part of the environment.
