A tone arm according to an embodiment includes: a first arm configured to rotate around a rotation shaft in a horizontal direction of a record; a second arm configured to rotate around a free fulcrum of the first arm as the first arm rotates; a motor configured to rotatably drive the first arm; and a controller configured to control a phase angle of the motor so that the second arm is disposed with a longitudinal axis thereof extends in a tangent direction of a groove of the record at a contact position of a stylus attached to a tip portion of the second arm and the groove of the record.

A lifter mechanism includes: a first lifter; a second lifter; a first biasing member that biases the second lifter from a second lower limit position toward a second upper limit position; a locking lever that is displaced between a locked position in which the locking lever locks the second lifter in the second lower limit position and a released position in which the locking lever releases the lock of the second lifter from the second lower limit position; a second biasing member that biases the locking lever from the locked position toward the released position; a holding member that holds the locking lever in the locked position; and a queueing lever that pushes down the second lifter from the second upper limit position to the second lower limit position.

A lifter mechanism includes: a first lifter; a second lifter; a first biasing member that biases the second lifter from a second lower limit position toward a second upper limit position; a locking lever that is displaced between a locked position in which the locking lever locks the second lifter in the second lower limit position and a released position in which the locking lever releases the lock of the second lifter from the second lower limit position; a second biasing member that biases the locking lever from the locked position toward the released position; a holding member that holds the locking lever in the locked position; and a queueing lever that pushes down the second lifter from the second upper limit position to the second lower limit position.

A control system for fully automatic turntables is revealed. The control system includes a receiver module therein for receiving signals from application programs to activate a drive source and a control assembly which control a platter and a tonearm respectively. The control assembly includes a first rod provided with an upper rack and a second rod provided with a lower rack. The first and second rods are inserted and installed on a base. A power source disposed on the base is for driving a first gear set correspondingly and a connecting rod is also moved to drive a second gear set. Thus partial gears of the first and second gear sets are engaged with the upper and lower racks alternately. The first and second rods are further driven to move or stop the tonearm respectively. Therefore, automatic movement of the tonearm is achieved.

A control system for fully automatic turntables is revealed. The control system includes a receiver module therein for receiving signals from application programs to activate a drive source and a control assembly which control a platter and a tonearm respectively. The control assembly includes a first rod provided with an upper rack and a second rod provided with a lower rack. The first and second rods are inserted and installed on a base. A power source disposed on the base is for driving a first gear set correspondingly and a connecting rod is also moved to drive a second gear set. The tonearm lifter includes a casing adapted to be fixedly mounted to the main body of the turntable, a lifting unit adapted to be mounted to the main body, adapted for supporting the tonearm, movable relative to the casing along a vertical axis, and non-rotatable about the axis relative to the casing, and a rotating unit including a threaded seat that is rotatable about the axis and that is threadably engaging the lifting unit, and a driving module that is connected to the threaded seat and that is operable to drive rotation thereof, thereby moving the lifting unit along the axis.

An automatic tonearm lifter for use in a turntable that includes a main body and a tonearm rotatably mounted on the main body. The tonearm lifter includes a casing adapted to be fixedly mounted to the main body of the turntable, a lifting unit adapted to be mounted to the main body, adapted for supporting the tonearm, movable relative to the casing along a vertical axis, and non-rotatable about the axis relative to the casing, and a rotating unit including a threaded seat that is rotatable about the axis and that is threadably engaging the lifting unit, and a driving module that is connected to the threaded seat and that is operable to drive rotation thereof, thereby moving the lifting unit along the axis.

An automatic tonearm lifter for use in a turntable that includes a main body and a tonearm rotatably mounted on the main body. The tonearm lifter includes a casing adapted to be fixedly mounted to the main body of the turntable, a lifting unit adapted to be mounted to the main body, adapted for supporting the tonearm, movable relative to the casing along a vertical axis, and non-rotatable about the axis relative to the casing, and a rotating unit including a threaded seat that is rotatable about the axis and that is threadably engaging the lifting unit, and a driving module that is connected to the threaded seat and that is operable to drive rotation thereof, thereby moving the lifting unit along the axis.

An automatic tonearm lifter for use in a turntable that includes a main body and a tonearm rotatably mounted on the main body. A tonearm unit includes: an arm member having a tip to which a cartridge is attached; and a raising and lowering mechanism which raises and lowers the arm member with respect to a phonograph record along an axis. The raising and lowering mechanism includes: a cam base supporting the arm member; a ring cam provided to be rotatable about the axis with respect to the cam base; a first guide portion on the cam base, extending at an angle along a rotation direction of the ring cam; and a second guide portion on the ring cam, extending at an angle along the rotation direction so as to face the first guide portion. When the ring cam rotates with respect to the cam base, the cam base is raised and lowered with respect to the ring cam as a result of the second guide portion sliding along the first guide portion.
