METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING HARD DISK CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION DURING A COMPUTER SESSION
A device to detect hot-plugging and hot-unplugging of hard disk and the hard disk type includes a connector and a control circuit. When hot-plugged, the hard disk is coupled to the connector, the control circuit comprises delay circuit and latch circuit. The delay circuit delays a falling edge of the third signal and outputs a delay signal, the latch circuit processes the first and second signals and outputs a logical result as a latch signal. The control circuit determines the connected or disconnected status and type of the hard disk according to the respective levels of the first and second signals, the delay signal, and the latch signal. The delay signal and the latch signal work to correct error of the control circuit in determining connectivity and non-connectivity during a session due to asynchronous changes in signal levels of the first and second signals.
DISK CARTRIDGE DATA STORAGE LIBRARY
A data storage disk cartridge library includes a media drive having a clean internal environment, a disk cartridge bay positioned adjacent to the media drive, and a disk cartridge positioned in the disk cartridge bay and having clean compartments for housing a clean disk trays supporting clean magnetic recording disk media. The media drive has a disk tray extractor including a seal plate positioned at times flush with a surrounding shroud, and a set of pins for extending through the seal plate and a disk tray and for moving to a tray locking position. The seal plate covers a disk tray faceplate to physically isolate the faceplate from the clean portion of the disk tray, the corresponding clean compartment, and the clean environment of the media drive. The shroud is configured to cover surfaces of the disk cartridge adjacent to the faceplate.
DISK CLAMP AND DISK DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a disk clamp includes a disk-shaped main body including a central axis line, an annular mounting groove provided in a first surface of the main body, in which a wire for unbalance adjustment is mountable, a plurality of through-holes formed through the main body and spaced apart from each other equally in a circumferential direction around the central axis line, through each of which a fixing screw is insertable, and a plurality of female threaded holes formed on the first surface of the main body and spaced apart from each other equally in the circumferential direction, through each of which an adjustment screw for balancing adjustment is screwable.
ARTICLE OF CLOTHING WITH VIDEO RECORDING DEVICE SUPPORT
A video recording device, holster and article of clothing are disclosed to reliably and covertly provide for the capture of video, audio, and metadata, and perform other commands. The holster may be provided with a carrier that is, in turn, inserted into the holster. In one embodiment, the holster may be confirmed as being associated with the video recording device to authenticate a user, and establishes a docked position. Moreover, the video recording device may enter a mode of operation associated with using the video recording apparatus automatically when inserted into a holster.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE THAT INCLUDES A COMPOSITION THAT CAN ACTIVELY GENERATE AND RELEASE A GASEOUS OXIDIZING AGENT COMPONENT INTO AN INTERIOR SPACE OF THE ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND RELATED SUBASSEMBLIES AND METHODS
The present disclosure relates to electronic devices that include a composition that actively generates a gaseous oxidizing agent component within the interior gas space of the electronic device. The present disclosure also involves related methods.

Disk device with base and first and second covers
According to one embodiment, a disk device includes a disk-shaped recording medium, a base accommodating the recording medium, the base including a bottom wall, a sidewall on a peripheral portion of the bottom wall, and a rib on a part of an upper surface of the sidewall and extending along an entire circumference of the sidewall, a first cover on a part of the upper surface of the sidewall, and a second cover on a first surface of the rib and above the first cover. The rib includes a first region with a first width, a second region with a second width less than the first width, and the first surface with a fixed width around an entire circumference of the rib. The first region and the second region are located corresponding to a side portion of the recording medium.
Heat-dissipating, shock-absorbing structure
Provided is a heat-dissipating, shock-absorbing structure which is applicable to an electronic module with a hard disk drive. The heat-dissipating, shock-absorbing structure includes a heat-dissipating frame, an elastomer, and a plurality of heat conduction layers. The heat-dissipating frame has a fixing segment and two extending segments. The extending segments connect with two ends of the fixing segment. The fixing segment connects with one side of the hard disk drive. The distance between the extending segments is greater than the thickness of the hard disk drive. At least a portion of the elastomer is disposed at the extending segments. The heat conduction layers cover the elastomer.
Systems and methods of transitioning between video clips in interactive videos
Systems and methods described in this application are directed to creating interactive stories using static 360-degree environments with dynamic sprites displayed thereon. These techniques facilitate creation of gamified storytelling and improve on prior efforts to create an immersive experience. Some embodiments described in this application are directed to creating video clips with assistance to improve continuity between clips while other embodiments are directed to transitioning between those clips in the course of presenting an interactive story to a user.
Data storage retainer systems, methods, and devices
A retention assembly includes a first retention member with a first set of ribs and a second set of ribs. The first set of ribs are positioned to form slots, which are shaped to receive data storage devices. The first set of ribs are arranged to separate adjacent data storage devices and have a first length. The second set of ribs extend into respective slots to form air channels within the slots, and the second set of ribs have a second length that is shorter than the first length.
