In an information recording device, when receiving an erase command by a receiver, a controller erases data of an erased area by overwriting data in an information area, to corrupt the data in the information area, using an erasing pattern. The erased area is specified by an erase start position and a size of the data to be erased on the optical disc. The data in the information area is arranged as partial data in a series of data arranged in a direction of internal parity of error correction so that correction is disabled in both of a correction processing by the internal parity of the error correction and a correction processing by external parity of the error correction when the data in the information area is overwritten using the erasing pattern.

A method for protecting video data stored in a cloud and a system thereof. The method comprises the following steps: when video data needs to be protected, setting a corresponding locking mark and information represents a locking duration for the video data; when the locking duration of the video data that has been locked ends, removing the locking mark corresponding to the video data; when cyclic overwriting is required, overwriting video data with longest storage time and without a corresponding locking mark with new video data to be stored. A locking mark is set for video data that needs to be protected in past time and future time scopes so that the video data after locking will not be lost due to cyclic overwriting. Setting a locking password can prevent a problem that key video is deleted by mistake when a user manually deletes a video data file and can prevent key video data from being deleted maliciously by human at the same time.

An information recording and reproducing apparatus including: a reproducing unit which generates a digital signal from an analog signal; a recording compensation unit which generates an expectation signal from the digital signal, detects a signal difference between the digital signal and the expectation signal, and adjusts a recording condition for recording the information; and a recording unit configured to record the information based on the recording condition. First recording compensation is performed for adjusting the recording condition using first recording where lengths of a preceding space and a succeeding space of a first recording mark and lengths of a preceding space and a succeeding space of a second recording mark are not in intersymbol interference; and second recording compensation is performed for adjusting the recording condition for the first recording mark using second recording data for changing a length of the second recording mark.
