OPTICAL DISC RECORDING MEDIUM SUITABLE FOR USE IN STACKED MANNER
An optical disc recording medium includes: a substrate; at least one recording layer formed on at least one side of the substrate; and a cover layer formed on the substrate and the recording layer. The cover layer having a first thickness with reference to a surface of the substrate, in an inside of a circle having a first radius from a center of the substrate. The cover layer having a second thickness larger than the first thickness with reference to the surface of the substrate, on a circumference having a second radius longer than the first radius from the center of the substrate. The cover layer having a third thickness smaller than the first thickness with reference to the surface of the substrate, on a circumference having a third radius longer than the first radius and shorter than the second radius from the center of the substrate.

METHOD OF PRODUCING MULTILAYER OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING MULTILAYER OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM
There is provided a method of producing a multilayer optical recording medium through which the occurrence of burrs is reduced. The method of producing a multilayer optical recording medium includes, when a UV curable adhesive is interposed between a first disk and a second disk, the first disk and the second disk are rotated, and when at least one of the vicinities of inner circumferential edges and the vicinities of outer circumferential edges of the first disk and the second disk is masked with a mask member, emitting ultraviolet rays for preliminarily curing the UV curable adhesive from the side of a light emission surface of the first disk during rotation.
Optical information storage medium
An optical information storage medium includes a multilayer film that includes a plurality of extruded alternating active data storage layers and buffer layers, which separate the active data storage layers. The active data storage layers and buffer layers have thicknesses that allow the active data storage layers to be writable by non-linear or threshold writing processes to define data voxels within the active data storage layers that are readable by an optical reading device.
