SIGNAL TRANSMISSION CABLE
A signal transmission cable is provided with a conductor, an insulator covering around the conductor, a shield layer covering around the insulator, a sheath covering around the shield layer, and a plating base layer is provided between the insulator and the shield layer to cover around the insulator. The shield layer has a plating layer provided to cover the plating base layer to be in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the plating base layer. A surface roughness of an outer peripheral surface of the plating layer is less than a surface roughness of an inner peripheral surface of the plating layer.
High frequency signal transmission cable and producing method therefor
A high frequency signal transmission cable includes a conductor, an insulator provided over a periphery of the conductor, a plating layer provided over a periphery of the insulator, and a sheath provided over a periphery of the plating layer. A crack suppressing layer is provided between the insulator and the plating layer, in such a manner as to remain in contact with the insulator while being provided with the plating layer over an outer surface of that crack suppressing layer. The crack suppressing layer is composed of a resin film to suppress the occurrence of a cracking in the plating layer by bending while moving in a longitudinal direction of the cable relative to a bending of the insulator.
Flexible cable
In accordance with an aspect of the disclosure, a cable comprises a flexible cable portion; and an end cable portion connected to one end of the flexible cable portion, wherein the flexible cable portion comprises: a first wire comprising one or more signal transmission lines; and a second wire comprising one or more fill-cut areas corresponding to the signal transmission lines and at least one or more ground lines.
Shielded Wire and Wire Harness
A shielded electric wire includes an electric wire including a conductor portion and a cover portion covering the conductor portion, a shielded braid formed of a conductive linear material, the shielded braid covering an outer periphery of the cover portion and a sheath formed of an insulating resin, the sheath being provided around the shielded braid. The electric wire and the shielded braid together form an electric wire assembly. A flexible value of the sheath is equal to or smaller than a flexible value of the electric wire assembly, the flexible value being a value of a load required for bending an object for a predetermined extent.
FOIL INDUCED HIGH FREQUENCY SKIN EFFECT IN STRANDED CENTER CONDUCTOR COPPER CABLE
A cable apparatus is disclosed which can include at least one metal stranded center conductor, and a metal foil wrap that surrounds and wraps the at least one metal stranded center conductor. In addition, the cable apparatus can include an insulating layer that surrounds the metal foil wrap, and may include a shielding that surrounds and encapsulates the insulating layer. A jacket can surround the shielding. The cable apparatus can be used in coaxial, twin-coaxial, and twisted pairs wire arrangements.
Coaxial cable and method of construction thereof
A coaxial cable and method of construction thereof are provided. The coaxial cable includes an elongate central conductive member; a dielectric insulative layer encasing the central conductive member; an outer protective sheath, and a braided EMI shield layer including hybrid yarn sandwiched between the dielectric insulative layer and the outer protective sheath. The hybrid yarn includes an elongate nonconductive filament and an elongate continuous conductive wire filament. The wire filament is interlaced in electrical communication with itself or other wire filaments along a length of the EMI shield layer to provide protection to the central conductive member against at least one of EMI, RFI or ESD. The method includes providing a central conductive member; forming a dielectric insulative layer surrounding the central conductive member; braiding an EMI shield layer including hybrid yarn about the insulative layer, and forming an outer protective sheath about the braided EMI shield layer.
Inverted cable design for high-speed, low loss signal transmission
An improved electrical cable design for high-speed, low loss signal transmission. The improved cable design may be a three-conductor cable having a center conductor, a middle conductor and an outer conductor, where each conductor is separated by a dielectric layer. The electrical cable provides an inverted cable design, in which signal transmission occurs within the middle conductor, the center conductor is used as a return or drain line to ground and the outer conductor is used as a shield. The middle conductor of the electrical cable provides a larger surface area for signal conductance than the center conductor, thereby transmitting signals with significantly less loss (e.g., at least 50% less loss).
High bandwidth video push-cables for pipe inspection systems
High bandwidth push-cables for high speed image or video data transmission between a camera head and a cable reel or camera control unit (CCU) are disclosed.
