Diagnostic device and method for solenoid valves
A diagnostic method for solenoid valves includes detecting, at excitation of the solenoid, a variation rate of the supply voltage of the solenoid and comparing it with a predetermined value, generating an error signal if the variation rate is lower than the predetermined value, otherwise, detecting characteristics of the waveform of the solenoid current over a time interval between a moment of excitation of the solenoid and a moment wherein the movable core reaches end-stroke position, comparing the detected characteristics with threshold values, generating an alarm signal if the detected characteristics are lower than the threshold values, otherwise calculating the value of solenoid resistance and comparing it with a minimum resistance value and a maximum resistance value when the solenoid current is in steady state, and generating an alarm signal if the solenoid resistance value is lower than the minimum resistance value or greater than the maximum resistance value.
SOLENOID VALVE ABNORMALITY DETECTION DEVICE, AUTOMATIC MEDICAL ANALYSIS APPARATUS USING SAME, AND SOLENOID VALVE ABNORMALITY DETECTION METHOD
The present invention accurately estimates the opening state of a solenoid valve using a feature amount based on driving current information of the solenoid valve. A solenoid valve abnormality detection device, which uses a driving current pattern associated with valve opening of a solenoid valve and detected by a current sensor to detect an abnormality of the solenoid valve, comprises: a feature amount extraction unit that determines a feature amount of a driving current pattern associated with valve opening of the solenoid valve within a predetermined detection period; a feature amount correction unit that estimates the valve temperature of the solenoid valve; and an opening state estimation unit that estimates the opening state of the solenoid valve using the feature amount value corrected by the feature amount correction unit.
Method for operating a hydraulic valve of a hydraulic device of a motor vehicle transmission device as well as a motor vehicle transmission device
A method for operating a hydraulic valve of a hydraulic device of a motor vehicle transmission device, wherein an actuating current of the hydraulic valve is superposed with a modulation alternating current in order to adjust a shaking vibration of the hydraulic valve by a control device, wherein a deviation between an actual pressure resulting from the actuating current and a setpoint pressure determined as a function of the actuating current is determined for the hydraulic device by means of an electronic computing device, and an amplitude and/or a frequency of the modulation alternating current is increased as compared to a starting value equalizing a hysteresis of the actual pressure relative to the setpoint pressure, as a function of a tolerance range being exceeded by the determined deviation.
Gap-closing actuator having a double-wound driving coil
A haptic engine includes a gap-closing actuator having a double-wound driving coil in which the two windings can be activated with two driving sources, respectively. Or, the two windings double-wound driving coil can be activated with a single driving source when the two windings are connected with each other either in series or in parallel. By using the double-wound driving coil in the gap-closing actuator as described, an instant inductance of either of the two windings can be determined without having to measure in real time a resistance of the corresponding winding.
TEST BENCH FOR A BULB OF A CONTACTOR, ASSOCIATED TEST ASSEMBLY AND USE OF SUCH A TEST BENCH
A test bench for a contactor bulb includes: a frame, configured to fix the bulb therein, and an actuation device, borne by the frame and including an output shaft, centred on a longitudinal axis and translationally movable with respect to the frame parallel to the longitudinal axis between a front position and a rear position, the output shaft being configured to be connected to an actuation rod of the bulb. The actuation device is a moving magnet electromagnetic actuator.
ELECTRIC POWER CONTROL WITH A DITHER SIGNAL
A method for controlling a current flowing through a consumer comprises the following steps, which are periodically traversed: determining a dither current based on a dither signal and a definite point in time, wherein the dither signal is determined by a frequency, an amplitude and a signal form and actuating a flow control valve to produce the sum of a target current and the determined dither current by the consumer. Furthermore, the method comprises determining an indication to the current flowing through the consumer; compensating the indication by the factor of the dither current; and providing the indication, wherein the determination of the dither current and the determination of the indication are synchronized with each other in a predetermined way.
Method of adaptively sampling data to determine the start of injection in a solenoid actuated valve
A method of adaptively sampling data to determine the start of injection in a solenoid actuated valve of a fluid injector includes, in an operating cycle or portion thereof of the valve, sampling the signal of current through a solenoid of the valve at sampling points having a pre-defined interval therebetween. At each sampling point, determining the value of the first derivative of current and detecting the sampling point at which the first derivative achieves a maximum as the start of injection. Values of the first derivative of the sampling points immediately preceding and immediately following the start of injection are determined. In a subsequent operating cycle, synchronisation of sampling is altered to shift sampling times depending on the values of the first derivative of the sampling points immediately preceding and immediately following the start of injection.
System and method for spool fault detection of solenoid valves using electrical signature
The present disclosure relates to a system for monitoring a solenoid operated valve including at least one coil and at least one spool. The system compares a normalized current signature and a normalized current signature comparator to determine a spool fault condition.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A MAGNETIC VALVE AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING OR ASPIRATING A VOLUME OF LIQUID AS WELL AS CORRESPONDING DISPENSER/PIPETTING APPARATUS
A method for controlling a magnetic valve and particularly a method for dispensing and/or aspirating a volume of liquid as well as a corresponding dispenser/pipetting apparatus is disclosed. The method for controlling a magnetic valve has measuring a capacitance at the magnetic valve and determining a position of a plunger based on the measured capacitance. The method for dispensing or aspirating a volume of liquid has controlling a flow of a system fluid by a magnetic valve located between a pressure source and a dispenser/pipetting tip, dispensing or aspirating a volume of liquid through an exterior opening of the tip dependent on the flow of the system fluid, wherein controlling the flow and determining a flow time in dependence of the volume of liquid to be dispensed or aspirated, and controlling the magnetic valve is held open for the duration of the flow time.
