The fluid composition may be useful, for example, as a dielectric fluid and/or as a heat transfer fluid in transformers and other electrical device applications.
SOLUBLE WATER SCAVENGER MOLECULES FOR USE WITH DIELECTRIC FLUIDS
Soluble water scavenger molecules for use with dielectric fluids are disclosed. An example dielectric fluid-based composition for reducing water content in a dielectric fluid may include a water-scavenging agent disposed within a dielectric fluid. The example dielectric fluid-based composition may further include the water-scavenging agent being soluble in the dielectric fluid. The example dielectric fluid-based composition may further include the water-scavenging agent being configured to react with water molecules in the dielectric fluid. The example dielectric fluid-based composition may be disposed in an electrical equipment immersed in oil. The electrical equipment may further include at least one solid insulation in operational contact with the dielectric fluid.
Electrical device having a plurality of cooling units
An electrical device connects to a high-voltage network and has a vessel, which is filled with an insulating fluid, an active part, which is arranged in the vessel and which has a magnetizable core and partial windings for producing a magnetic field in the core, and a cooling apparatus for cooling the insulating fluid. The electrical device is economical and at the same time can be operated at higher temperatures. This is achieved by use of at least one thermal barrier, which delimits cooling spaces, in each of which at least one partial winding is arranged. The cooling apparatus has at least two cooling units and each cooling unit being configured to cool an associated partial winding.
STATIONARY INDUCTION APPARATUS
A first plate-like portion is provided with a plurality of first holes extending therethrough in a central axis direction. A second plate-like portion is provided with a plurality of second holes extending therethrough in the central axis direction. The plurality of first holes, the plurality of second holes, a first notch and a second notch overlap one another, to thereby form a flow path which connects one side and the other side of each of a plurality of insulating plates and through which insulating oil can flow in a first direction.
Synthetic ester and mineral oil dielectric fluids with increased stability
A dielectric fluid is provided comprising an oil and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of phosphite compounds. It has been discovered that addition of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of phosphite compounds to dielectric fluids comprising oil impart a stabilizing effect that reduces, inhibits or prevents formation of stray gases in the dielectric fluid during ordinary use.
Dielectric fluids comprising natural bio-sourced oil with increased stability
A dielectric fluid is provided comprising a natural bio-sourced oil and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of phosphite compounds. It has been discovered that addition of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of phosphite compounds to dielectric fluids comprising oil impart a stabilizing effect that reduces, inhibits or prevents formation of stray gases in the dielectric fluid during ordinary use.
