METHOD FOR MAKING A DRY-TYPE TRANSFORMER, DRY-TYPE TRANSFORMER OBTAINED FROM SAID METHOD, AND DIELECTRIC BARRIER ARRANGEMENT FOR ELECTRICALLY ISOLATING A COIL OF A TRANSFORMER ASSEMBLY
A dry-type transformer, comprises a magnetic core, at least one high voltage (HV) winding, and at least one low voltage (LV) winding inductively coupled to the magnetic core. The transformer is made by determining a shape of an electric field that is generated, 3D printing a dielectric structure shaped to conform to the determined shape of the electric field, and mounting the dielectric structure between the HV and LV windings. A dielectric barrier arrangement for electrically isolating a coil of a transformer assembly from a further coil of the transformer assembly or from a core of the transformer assembly comprises a first dielectric structure having a first cylindrical dielectric structure extending along a longitudinal axis (L).
Insulator having internal cooling channels
The present disclosure relates to an electrical insulator, for an inductive device filled with an electrically insulating cooling fluid. The insulator defines a plurality of internal channels for allowing the fluid to flow there through to improve circulation of the fluid within the inductive device.
Liquid cooled magnetic element
A magnetic element. In some embodiments, the magnetic element includes a first electrically conductive coil, having a first annular surface and a second annular surface; a second electrically conductive coil, having a first annular surface and a second annular surface; and a spacer between the first electrically conductive coil and the second electrically conductive coil; a fluid inlet; and a fluid outlet. The spacer may have a first face, the first face being separated from the first annular surface of the first electrically conductive coil by a first gap; and a fluid path may extend from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet through the first gap.
Winding assembly
A winding assembly for a transformer, in particular with a medium operating voltage of Um≥79.5 kV, wherein the winding assembly includes at least one winding, which ends in a winding conductor, where the winding conductor is connected to a switching line, which is configured to interconnect the winding to other windings, and where the connection of the switching line to the winding conductor is arranged inside the winding so as to reduce the danger of partial discharges and flashovers in the high-voltage end-line region for high-temperature applications.
Method and conductor structure for manufacturing an electric winding of an electromagnetic induction apparatus
A method for manufacturing an electric winding of an electromagnetic induction apparatus includes providing a conductor structure and forming an electric winding by means of the conductor structure. The conductor structure includes a conductor element extending longitudinally along a main extension direction and one or more spacer bands arranged on corresponding lateral surfaces of the conductor element. Each spacer band includes a supporting structure made of electrically insulating material and spacer elements made of electrically insulating material arranged on the supporting structure. The spacer elements are spaced one from another along the supporting structure. The electric winding extends axially along a winding direction and has a plurality of turns arranged around the winding direction. Each turn of the electric winding is formed by a corresponding longitudinal portion of the conductor element. The spacer elements are interposed between adjacent turns of the electric winding at opposite sides of the turns.
PULSE POWER MODULE
To reduce the size of a magnetic circuit to be provided in a pulse power module for applying a high voltage in the form of a pulse across a pair of discharge electrodes which are disposed in a laser chamber of a gas laser apparatus, the magnetic circuit may include a magnetic core, an insulation member configured to contain a refrigerant flow path therein and cover the periphery of the magnetic core, and a winding wound around the insulation member.
LIQUID COOLED MAGNETIC ELEMENT
A toroidal magnetic element. A plurality of coils is arranged in a toroidal configuration. Each coil may be a hollow cylinder, formed by winding a rectangular wire into a roll. The coils alternate with spacers, each of which may be a wedge. The coils may alternate in winding orientation, and the inner end of each coil may be connected, through a connection pin, to the inner end of an adjacent coil. Small gaps are formed between the coils and the wedges, e.g. as a result of each wedge having, on its two faces, a plurality of raised ribs, against which the coils abut. Cooling fluid flows through the gaps to cool the coils.
ELECTRICAL TRANSFORMER SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An electrical transformer includes a coil pack including windings, and spacers axially spacing turns of the windings from one another and being formed of a thermoplastic material. Sticks couple and position the spacers. The coil pack has high resistivity to creep and permits temperature rise without degradation of transformer insulation, providing for extended service life and unique methods of transformer system upgrade.
COIL AND COIL PRODUCTION METHOD
A coil sheet includes a conductor layer, a thermally resistant organic insulating layer, a thermosetting adhesive layer in a B-stage state, and a base layer, such that the conductor layer and the insulating layer are bonded to the base layer with the adhesive layer. A coil is formed of a laminate sheet including a conductor layer, an insulating layer, and an adhesive layer of the coil sheet which are released from the base layer thereof, wherein the laminate sheet is wound around a specific axis a plurality of times, and the adhesive layer is thermally cured.
