ROTARY ELECTRICAL TRANSFORMER WITH PREFERRED LUBRICANT
A rotary transformer for transferring electrical current between a stationary location and a rotating location utilizes paired electrically conducting sintered disks, one stationary and one rotating, wherein the rotating sintered disk rotates on the stationary one and are lubricated with a boundary layer conductor that is a triacylglyceride.
MOTOR AND ROTARY TRANSFORMER WITH SHARED MAGNETIC CORE
An integrated hybrid rotary assembly is configured to provide power, torque and bi-directional communication to a rotatable sensor, such as a lidar, radar or optical sensor. A common ferrite core is shared by a motor, rotary transformer and radio frequency communication link. This hybrid configuration reduces cost, simplifies the manufacturing process, and can improve system reliability by employing a minimum number of parts. The assembly can be integrated with the sensor unit, which may be used in vehicles and other systems.

Method for manufacturing a rotor for an electrical machine with a contactless power transmission system, and rotor, electrical machine and motor vehicle
A method for manufacturing a rotor for an electric machine with a contactless power transmission system, wherein an end winding cover is arranged on one end face of a laminated core of the rotor. The invention provides that a secondary unit (SEC) of the power transmission system is integrated in the end winding cover and, as a result, after the end winding cover has been arranged, the secondary unit (SEC) is held on the rotor indirectly via the end winding cover.

SYSTEM FOR WIRELESSLY SUPPLYING A ROTATING DEVICE WITH ELECTRICAL ENERGY
A system for wirelessly supplying electric energy to a rotating device includes a flange disk, a disk-shaped ring, an annular plastic filling, a receiving coil which is embedded in the annular plastic filling, a U-shaped ferrite core having a short section, the end face of which is directed to the plastic filling, a long section which is oriented parallel to the short section and which extends parallel along the outer surface of the annular plastic filling, with the sections connected to one another via a section, a coil system and a receiving coil made of revolving wire windings. A distance of the end face of the long section from the rotation axis of the flange disk is smaller than a distance of the receiving coil from the rotation axis of the flange disk.
Compact integrated rotary joint
A rotary joint includes a first part and a second part configured to rotate around a rotation axis against the first part. The first part has a first magnetic core, a sliding brush, and a capacitive data link component. The second part has a second magnetic core for coupling power with the first magnetic core, a sliding track for galvanic coupling with the sliding brush, and a second capacitive data link component to transfer data from and/or to the first capacitive data link component. To weaken magnetic stray fields from the magnetic core, the rotary joint is a disc-type rotary joint, and the sliding track is arranged radially between the second magnetic core and the second capacitive data link component.
