A cavity (25) is made in a measurement wall (4) of one of the housings, and the electromagnet comprises a magnetic field sensor (26) positioned in the cavity and designed to measure a magnetic flux existing in a magnetic path formed by the walls of said housing and by the shuttle, in order to detect whether the shuttle has moved towards or away from the abutment wall of said first or second housing.
PULSE SOLENOID CONTROL CIRCUIT
Disclosed herein is a device comprising a pulse trigger switch module configured to generate a first control signal in response to a first input signal value and generate the second control signal in response to a second input signal value. An on pulse generator module provides a first pulse signal having a first predetermined pulse duration in response to the first control signal and an off pulse generator module provides a second pulse signal having a second predetermined pulse duration in response to the second control signal. An on pulse switch module connects a power signal to an output in response to the first pulse signal and an off pulse switch module connects the power signal to the output in response to the second pulse signal.
Method and apparatus for controlling circuit breaker operation
A method of controlling a circuit breaker that has a movable contact and an actuator for moving the movable contact between an open position and a closed position. With the movable contact in the open position, a voltage is applied to the actuator to cause the movable contact to move towards the closed position. The voltage is applied for a limited time period ending before the movable contact reaches the closed position. At the end of the limited time period, the voltage is adjusted to reduce the acceleration exerted on the contact. The voltage is subsequently increased just before, after, or substantially at the same time as the contact reaches its closed position.
Bistable solenoid valve device, and method for monitoring it
A bistable solenoid valve device for a fluid system is provided. The bistable solenoid valve device comprises a bistable solenoid valve. The bistable solenoid valve comprises a permanent magnet. The bistable solenoid valve further comprises an armature displaceable between a first armature position and a second armature position. The bistable solenoid valve further comprises a first switching coil for energization for a displacement of the armature into the first armature position. The bistable solenoid valve further comprises a second switching coil for energization for a displacement of the armature into the second armature position. The bistable solenoid valve further comprises an evaluation device adapted to measure an induced coil voltage, an induced coil current, or both the induced coil voltage and the induced coil current, at one or more of the non-energized switching coils. The evaluation device is further adapted to assess a switching behavior of the armature.

BALLISTIC UNIPOLAR BISTABLE ACTUATOR
An actuator for controlling the movement of an element between two stable positions with pulsed electrical control without a change in polarity comprises: a ferromagnetic mobile mass, at least one electrically controlled wire coil that is fixed with respect to the mobile mass, at least two ferromagnetic poles that are fixed with respect to the mobile mass and on either side of the mobile mass. The actuator comprises at least one permanent magnet that attracts the mobile mass in order to achieve the two stable positions. The mobile mass defines, with the ferromagnetic poles, at least two variable air gaps during the movement of the mobile apparatus. The magnetic flux of the permanent magnet opposes the magnetic flux generated by the at least one coil regardless of the position of the mobile mass.
