ELECTRICAL STORAGE MODULE
A power storage module includes an array including power storage devices each having first and second surfaces opposite to each other in a first direction, a first restraint member facing the first surface of each power storage device, and a second restraint member facing the second surface of each power storage device. Dimensions of the power storage devices in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction are larger than respective dimensions of the power storage devices. The power storage devices are arranged in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions. The first restraint member extends in the third direction and restrains the array in the third direction. The second restraint member extends in the third direction and restrains the array in the third direction. At least one of the first and second restraint members has a hole therein. The hole is a recess falling in the first direction or a through-hole passing through the restraint member in the first direction.
Energy storage device and energy storage device production method
An energy storage device includes a current collector (negative electrode current collector), electrode body that includes a body portion and a tab projecting from the body portion, and a leading plate (negative electrode leading plate) that connects the current collector and the tab. In the leading plate, first and second plates and facing each other are continuously connected at end portions thereof in the first plate, the current collector is fixed to a first principal surface on the opposite side to the second plate. In the second plate, the tab is fixed to a second principal surface on the opposite side to the first plate.

ELECTRICAL STORAGE MODULE
Provided in a power storage module including: a plurality of power storage devices; and a first current collector that holds the plurality of power storage devices. The plurality of power storage devices each include a case having an opening, an electrode assembly including a first electrode and a second electrode housed in the case, and a sealing member that seals the opening. The case includes a tubular part including one end provided with the opening, and a bottom that closes the other end of the tubular part. The case is electrically connected to the first electrode. The first current collector has a plurality of first through-holes that set and position the corresponding one of the plurality of electric storage devices, and the plurality of first through-holes each have a periphery electrically connected to the case. This structure enables improving energy density of the power storage module.
ENERGY STORAGE APPARATUS
An energy storage apparatus includes an energy storage device, a spacer disposed in a predetermined direction of the energy storage device, and an adhesive layer which is disposed between the energy storage device and the spacer and bonds the energy storage device and the spacer to each other. The spacer includes a first protruding portion which is disposed at a position adjacent to the adhesive layer in an intersecting direction which intersects the predetermined direction and projects toward the energy storage device and a second protruding portion which is disposed at a position different from the first protruding portion and projects toward the energy storage device and has a protrusion height lower than that of the first protruding portion.
ENERGY STORAGE DEVICE
An energy storage device includes: an external terminal having any one of positive and negative polarities and including a protrusion and a first terminal; a case having a polarity opposite to the external terminal and including an extension; a substrate disposed to surround an outer circumference of the protrusion of the external terminal through a hole formed at a center thereof; and a connection member located at an upper surface of the substrate and coupled to the first terminal of the external terminal, wherein the first terminal and the substrate are connected by means of the connection member, and the extension is connected to the substrate. Since positive and negative electrodes of the energy storage device are electrically connected to a substrate having a cell balancing function without a harness or any other member, it is possible to improve the economic feasibility and productivity of the energy storage device module.
POWER STORAGE DEVICE
An electrical double layer capacitor having electrolyte-containing layer between a first polarizable electrode layer and a second polarizable electrode layer. An insulating adhesive portion adheres to a first current collector and a second current collector which at least partially face each other with the electrolyte-containing layer interposed therebetween. The insulating adhesive portion 15 extends around the first and second polarizable electrode layers and the electrolyte-containing layer. A thickness of the electrolyte-containing layer is larger than a difference between a thickness of the insulating adhesive portion and thicknesses of the first and second polarizable electrode layers.
Electrochemical device for storing electrical energy in rectangular geometric cells
Electrochemical device for storing electrical energy in rectangular geometric cells, narrow stack geometry, according to the above claims wherein for being built from a sturdy housing (4) in the form of a straight rectangular parallelepiped and where hollow metal rods (5) run on the metal substrate (14) of the base (1) and through the through holes (16) of the base (16) and through the through holes (16) of it run hollow metal rods (5) and on each one of them, the positive electrode is inserted followed by a separating element and so on, while the other hollow metal bar (5) is inserted the negative electrode, followed by a separating element and so on forming a “stack” of electrodes (6) which would fit into the base (1) forming the central structure of the device, with the hollow metal rods (5) serving as current collectors. The rectangular narrow stack geometry electrode (6) allows to carry out the pre-metallisation stage necessary to create the SEI, and the subsequent cycle stage in the same device, without reopening it.
