An electrical switch including a frame, a first stationary contact, a second stationary contact, a roll element and a movable contact mounted to the roll element. The roll element is rotatable around a rotation axis between a first position and a second position relative to the frame. The movable contact includes a first contact portion and a second contact portion. In the first position of the roll element, the movable contact electrically conductively connects the first stationary contact to the second stationary contact, and in the second position of the roll element the first stationary contact is electrically disconnected from the second stationary contact. The first in contact portion and the second contact portion are located on opposite sides of a centre plane perpendicular to the rotation axis.

Rotating dual break point contact

A rotating dual break point contact includes a rotor support, a first shaft, a second shaft, a third shaft, a first connection rod, a second connection rod, a contact bridge and a contact spring. The contact bridge is provided in the rotor support, and the contact bridge rotates relative to the rotor support by means of the first shaft, the second shaft, the third shaft, the first connection rod and the second connection rod. The contact bridge rotates between an initial pressure position and a maximum repulsion position. A single contact spring is mounted on one side of the contact bridge and is located in the rotor support.

A switch includes connection elements, connectable via a switching contact whose movable contact area is formed on a movable contact element which bears against the stationary contact area in the closed position. In order to achieve a design with improved positional accuracy, an embodiment of the invention proposes that the two connection elements and the movable contact element each have a planar flat side and all flat sides lie in a common plane. In an embodiment, the connection elements are arranged on one side of the common plane and the movable contact element is arranged on the other side; a subarea of the flat side of one connection element forms the stationary contact area; a subarea of the flat side of the other connection element forms a planar bearing area; and the movable contact element with its flat side bears movably against the bearing area.

DC ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT BREAKER

A DC electrical circuit breaker includes first and second movable electrical contacts. The circuit breaker includes a magnetic circuit including a magnet and generating a magnetic field able to guide an electrical arc in the direction of a quenching chamber, and having for this purpose curved field lines extending perpendicularly to opposite lateral walls of an electrical arc formation chamber, these field lines converging, in a central region of the arc formation chamber containing the contact zones, toward the quenching chamber while extending parallel to the longitudinal plane.

Hybrid cutoff member for an electric circuit
09748060 · 2017-08-29 · ·

A hybrid interrupter member for an electrical circuit, the interrupter member including a static interrupter component and an electromechanical interrupter component. The static component is mounted on a support carrying electrical contacts for the static component, the support being configured, on receiving a command to interrupt, to move in such a manner as to withdraw at least one of the electrical contacts from its respective pin, thereby forming the electromechanical interrupter component.

Auxiliary Contact System of Contactor

An auxiliary contact system of a contactor includes an auxiliary movable contact, an auxiliary static contact corresponding to the auxiliary movable contact, and a rotation member configured to be rotatable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a main movable contact of the contactor is driven by the rotation member to an electric contact position in which the main movable contact contacts a main static contact and the auxiliary movable contact is in the electric contact position contacting the auxiliary static contact. In the second position, the main movable contact of the contactor is driven by the rotation member to an electric separation position where the main movable contact is separated from the main static contact and the rotation member pushes the auxiliary movable contact to the electric separation position separated from the auxiliary static contact.
