Isolating switch with test point
An isolating switch for a circuit includes: a switching mechanism movable between an open position in which the circuit is open and a closed position in which the circuit is closed; and a housing. The housing includes: a first housing component coupled to and enclosing the switching mechanism; a second housing component coupled to the switching mechanism and movable with respect to the first housing component to move the switching mechanism between the open position and the closed position; at least one aperture arranged in one of the first or second housing components; and at least one test point electrically connected to the circuit and arranged in an other of the first or second housing components. The second housing component is movable with respect to the first housing component between at least: a first relative position in which the switching mechanism is in the closed position.

Attaching an isolated single stud fuse to an electrical device
An electrical device assembly and method to attach an isolated single stud fuse assembly to an electrical device are disclosed. The electrical device assembly consists of multiple studs, one or more of which is replaced with the isolated single stud fuse. A conductive copper landing zone receives an electrically isolated steel stud. When the landing pad assembly is orbital riveted into a plastic housing of the electrical device, the stud is locked into the housing permanently. Electrical devices such as disconnect switches and power distribution modules, both of which include multiple studs, are good candidates for being adapted with the single stud fuse assembly.
Pushbutton switch with light-transmitting indicia on the pushbutton
An illuminated pushbutton for a pushbutton switch having a light transmitting pushbutton and an indicia cover that is attached to a front end of the light transmitting pushbutton. The indicia cover has non-light transmitting regions and light transmitting regions on its front surface, wherein the light transmitting regions provide visible, light-transmitted indicia on the light transmitting pushbutton. The indicia cover has an adhesive on its rear surface to attach the indicia cover to the front end of the light transmitting pushbutton. An LED in the pushbutton switch is constructed to transmit light to the indicia cover. The light passes through the light transmitting regions (symbols and letters) but not through the non-light transmitting regions. As the light passes through the light transmitting symbols and letters, the symbols and letters are lighted and visible in the dark.
