The disclosed invention is a relay switch that is capable of controlling the sequence in which a multi-unit heat pump system where the relay device determines which of the units act as primary and which a secondary. The disclosed switch is capable of reconfiguring the sequencing with a mere flip of a switch or a toggle of an actuator. There is a protective case enclosing the actual switch. The casing carries the dual role of insulating the switch and electrical connectors, as well as providing instructions on how to integrate the disclosed device into an existing heat pump system, as well as how to operate the device after successful integration. The wiring to the switch is accomplished via a panel of clearing marked external connectors. The switch can then operate via a mechanical or electronic actuator exposed on the surface of the protective case, or remotely via a connection module.

Dual Start Control Circuit for Auxiliary Inverters of Railway Vehicle

A dual start control circuit for auxiliary inverters of a railway vehicle is provided. An external dual circuit is designed for controlling a start and stop of the auxiliary inverters; and an APS START signal is added to start conditions of the auxiliary inverters. When a start-stop switch is turned to an “on” position, an APS start train line is electrified, APS start relays in cabs at both ends are electrified and corresponding normally-open contacts of the APS start relays are closed, a self-locking circuit is kept electrified, the APS start train line is kept electrified, and a start signal is transmitted to the auxiliary inverters through a hard wire; and when the start-stop switch is turned to an “off” position, an APS stop train line is electrified, APS stop relays in the cabs at both ends are electrified and corresponding normally-closed contacts of the APS stop relays are disconnected.

LONGITUDINAL SWITCH FOR ELECTRIC CONTACT LOCKING AND POSITION CHANGING SYSTEM

A longitudinal switch for an electric contact locking and position changing system was designed to position securely the movable switch elements (7), which are urged by springs (5) and a rack (1) and toothed gear (8) mechanism for moving a vertical shaft (9), acting upon fixed elements (contacts) (16) of an electrically insulating rail surface (15). Positions are changed by turning a control button (39) and the toothed gear (8), causing the vertical shaft (9) to rotate, thus moving the rack (1) and causing the movable elements (7) to slide on the semicircular surface (17) of the fixed elements (16), overcoming the force of the springs (5) and compressing them. Once the gap between the fixed elements (16) is located, the springs (5) push back, keeping the movable elements (7) locked and ensuring the effective electric contact with the electric current passing through these points of contact.
