An operating device is provided for a human-powered vehicle. The operating device basically includes a base, a first operating member and a first electric switch. The first operating member is movably arranged with respect to the base from a first position to a second position. The first electric switch is provided to the base. The first operating member is configured to activate the first electric switch at least two distinct times in response to a progressive movement of the first operating member from the first position towards the second position.
Tiller for outboard motor
A tiller for an outboard motor includes a tiller body that is elongated along a longitudinal center axis between a proximal end and a distal end. A throttle grip is on the distal end of the tiller body. A trim switch assembly is located at a distal end of the throttle grip. The trim switch assembly includes a momentary switch and a driver. The driver is configured to output current to activate a trim relay on the outboard motor in response to actuation of the momentary switch.
THUMB SWITCH FOR OPERATING A MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND/OR ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS AND A CONTROL SYSTEM OPERABLE VIA SUCH A THUMB SWITCH
Disclosed is a thumb switch for operating a mobile communication device and/or electric components of a vehicle, said thumb switch comprising a housing, on which at least one operating element is arranged. In order to allow for ease of operation, the thumb switch has communication electronics for generating control signals for functions that can be carried out on the mobile communication device and/or on at least one electrical component of the vehicle. The invention further relates to control system comprising such a thumb switch.
Starter and power equipment unit incorporating same
A push-button starter for use with an outdoor power equipment unit. In one embodiment, the starter includes a housing defining an opening to receive a removable button, and a peripheral edge surrounding the opening. The peripheral edge may define two scalloped areas such that two opposite sides of a head portion of the button are exposed and accessible when the button is in a neutral position within the housing while remaining sides of the head portion are enclosed within the housing. Moreover, the opening and the head portion may be configured to control an orientation of the button relative to the housing, and further prevent rotation of the button relative to the housing.

SWITCH ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRIC DRILL
The disclosure provides a switch assembly and an electric drill. The switch assembly includes a first switch, a button, and a locking mechanism. The button is provided with a pressing part that cooperates with the first switch, so as to trigger the first switch when the button is pressed. The locking mechanism includes a locking member for locking the button and a trigger pivotally mounted and matched with the locking member. When the locking mechanism is locked, the locking member resists the button, so that the button cannot be pressed. When the trigger is rotated, the trigger drives the locking member to move, so that the locking member is misaligned with the button, and the button can be pressed at this time.
Switch assembly, control method of switch assembly and power tool
A switch assembly, a switch assembly starting method and a power tool are provided. The switch assembly includes a housing, a main control switch accommodated in the housing, a locking switch and a trigger switch arranged on the housing. An end of the trigger switch is accommodated in the housing and is in contact with the main control switch. An end of the locking switch is in contact with the trigger switch. The locking switch has a locking position and a releasing position, when the locking switch is in the locking position, the locking switch limits the trigger switch in a locked state, and the main control switch cannot be started; when the locking switch is in the releasing position, the locking switch is positioned beside the trigger switch and limits are removed, the trigger switch is in the release state, and the main control switch can be started.
SWITCH ASSEMBLY, CONTROL METHOD OF SWITCH ASSEMBLY AND POWER TOOL
The disclosure provides a switch assembly, a switch assembly starting method and a power tool. The switch assembly comprises a housing, a main control switch accommodated in the housing, a locking switch and a trigger switch arranged on the housing. An end of the trigger switch is accommodated in the housing and is in contact with the main control switch. An end of the locking switch is in contact with the trigger switch. The locking switch has a locking position and a releasing position, when the locking switch is in the locking position, the locking switch limits the trigger switch in a locked state, and the main control switch cannot be started; when the locking switch is in the releasing position, the locking switch is positioned beside the trigger switch and limits are removed, the trigger switch is in the release state, and the main control switch can be started.
Vehicle operation device
A rotary knob that rotates in a pushed state includes an extending portion extending in a rotation direction of the rotary knob, and the extending portion includes a cutout portion cut out so as to prevent a first switch that detects that the rotary knob is pushed in from being pressed in a case where the rotary knob is in an intermediate range in which the rotary knob is in a pushed state.
Bicycle component motion control
Bicycle component motion control begins when a motorized bicycle component is commanded to shift or actuate. The bicycle component motion control compares parameters of a component of the bicycle to be moved, to predetermined thresholds to provide safe shifting or actuation. The shift or actuation starts only when the battery voltage and the battery temperature are within predetermined acceptable ranges, respectively. Once the shift or actuation has started, the shift or actuation is aborted if the battery voltage remains below a predetermined low voltage threshold for a predetermined amount of time. If the shift or actuation is aborted when the component is in a position, in which the bicycle may not operate at a particular level or is inoperable, the shift or actuation command is modified to move the component to a previous position or an intermediate position.
