A CONTACTOR
A contactor (1) comprising a first contact member (3) fixed and connected to a first conductor (5) of an electrical circuit; a second contact member (7) connected to a second conductor (9) of the electrical circuit by a connector (11); wherein the second contact member moves between a break position, in which the first and second contact members are out of contact, and a make position, in which the first and second contact members are in contact; an actuator assembly (15) coupled to the second contact member such that actuation of the actuator assembly translates into movement of the second contact member; an electromagnetic arrangement comprising an electromagnetic coil (17) and at least a part of the actuator assembly, wherein, when the coil is energised, the coil generates a magnetic field and thereby the actuation assembly is caused to move under the influence of the magnetic field, which in turn causes the second contact member to move; a hermetically sealable enclosure (2); wherein the first and second contact members, the connector, and the actuation assembly are inside the enclosure; and the coil is outside the enclosure.
CONTACT DEVICE, AND ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY
A contact device includes a fixed terminal, a moving contactor, a moving yoke, and a bus bar. The moving contactor moves from a closed position where a moving contact is in contact with a fixed contact to an open position where the moving contact is out of contact with the fixed contact, and vice versa. The moving yoke moves, as the moving contactor moves, in a direction of movement of the moving contactor. The bus bar generates, when energized, a magnetic field having a direction aligned with the direction of movement of the moving contactor. The bus bar is arranged, with respect to the moving yoke when the moving contactor is currently located at the closed position, in a direction in which the moving contactor moves from the open position toward the closed position.
Relay
A relay has a case, a first fixed terminal including a first fixed contact, a second fixed terminal including a second fixed contact, a movable touch piece including a first movable contact that is disposed facing the first fixed contact and a second movable contact that is disposed facing the second fixed contact, the movable touch piece being disposed in the case and disposed so as to be movable in a direction in which the first movable contact and the second movable contact come into contact with the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact and in a direction in which the first movable contact and the second movable contact separate from the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact. The first fixed terminal includes a first contact support disposed in the case and configured to support the first fixed contact.
ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY, ELECTRIC APPARATUS, AND ELECTRIC APPARATUS CASE
The contact device switches between a closed state where a movable contact is in contact with the fixed contact and an open state where the movable contact is apart from the fixed contact as the movable element moves. The bus bar is electrically connected to the fixed contact. A magnetic field generated by a current flowing through the bus bar when the contact device is in the closed state applies, to the movable element, force oriented such that the movable element is maintained at a location where the contact device is in the closed state. In such a positional relationship, the bus bar and the electromagnetic device are disposed.
Electromagnetic relay
An electromagnetic relay includes a movable terminal including a movable contact, a fixed terminal including a fixed contact that faces the movable contact, first irons disposed on one of the fixed terminal and the movable terminal, and a second iron disposed on another one of the fixed terminal and the movable terminal such that the second iron at least partially overlaps both of the first irons.
Electromagnetic relay
An electromagnetic relay includes a box-shaped insulating housing in which a closed space is formed, a pair of fixed terminals fixed to the housing electrically independently of each other and each having a fixed contact placement surface in the closed space, a plate-shaped conductive movable contactor that is provided in the closed space, has a first surface facing the fixed contact placement surfaces of the pair of fixed terminals, and is movably disposed such that the first surface approaches and separates from the fixed contact placement surfaces of the pair of fixed terminals, a pair of fixed contacts respectively provided on the fixed contact placement surfaces of the pair of fixed terminals, and a pair of movable contacts that is respectively provided on the first surface of the movable contactor and respectively face the pair of fixed contacts.
