A switch cabinet includes the mounting adapter.

SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING AN ELECTRICAL SOURCE OR ELECTRICAL LOAD

The invention relates to a system for protecting an electrical source or an electrical load, having a module comprising an input and an output, and an electronic safety device for the load that can be connected to the source. The module also comprises a voltage monitoring unit, a current monitoring unit, and semiconductor switching units and controllers associated therewith. According to the invention, in order to selectively apply the protection to the source or the protection to the load, a unit for electrical mirroring on the circuit side is provided so that in the event of source protection, the current monitoring unit is applied at the input end and the voltage monitoring unit is applied at the output end, and in the event of load protection, the voltage monitoring unit is applied at the input end and the current monitoring unit is applied at the output end.

LOCKING DEVICE FOR AN ELECTRICAL SWITCHBOARD

A locking device includes: a housing intended to be mounted on an electrical switchboard between a first switching apparatus and a second switching apparatus, each of the switching apparatuses having a control lever able to move between a lower position, corresponding to an open state, and an upper position, corresponding to a closed state, a locking member able to move in rotation between: a first locking position, in which the locking member blocks the control lever of the first switching apparatus in the open position, and a second locking position, in which the locking member blocks the control lever of the second switching apparatus in the open position.

Breaker plug
11139640 · 2021-10-05 ·

A rail-mountable electrical device having a “plug-in” receptacle for receiving a pluggable power cord in series with the circuit breaker while mounted on a hot bus bar within a breaker panel. In a first embodiment, the AC circuit breaker/receptacle combination device provides an accessible power outlet direct inside the breaker panel, for example during early construction when wiring of peripheral outlets has not been completed. Disclosed in a second embodiment is a dummy breaker body which comprises a plug receptacle and no circuit breaker. The dummy breaker body seats on the hot bus bar in a breaker panel but does not draw electricity directly, and instead is wired in series with a true circuit breaker proximate on the hot bus bar in a cis- or trans-position. The two body parts, dummy breaker body and circuit breaker, function independently but in series electrical connection. In the various embodiments, NEMA-type or aviation-type plug receptacles are conveniently made accessible within the breaker panel using these devices.

Method and apparatus for controlling a circuit breaker in an electrical energy supply network
10734179 · 2020-08-04 · ·

A method and an apparatus for controlling a circuit breaker in an electrical energy supply network. A switching signal is generated by a protective or control device of the energy supply network and the switching signal is transmitted to a control unit of the circuit breaker. The control unit is caused to open the switching contacts of the circuit breaker upon reception of the switching signal. In order to ensure a switching operation which is as fast as possible even in those energy supply networks in which phases of the current to be switched by a circuit breaker which are free of zero crossings can occur, a current flowing through the circuit breaker is recorded and is checked for the occurrence of zero crossings. The transmission of the signal for opening the switching contacts is prevented until at least one zero crossing has been detected.

ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY

An electrical assembly has an isolator function, a circuit breaker function and at least one ground electrode function. The at least one ground electrode function, the isolator function and the circuit breaker function are integrated in one and the same module. A locking unit is integrated in the module. The locking unit subjects the isolator function, the circuit breaker function and the at least one ground electrode function to mutual interlocking.

ELECTRONICALLY SWITCHING RAIL-MOUNTED DEVICE AND INSULATING MATERIAL HOUSING

An electronically switching rail-mounted device for a mounting or top hat rail with an insulating material housing having a front side, a fastening side opposite the front side, and first and second narrow and broad sides connecting the front and securing side. A controller with a power electronics system in a first receiving space formed in the insulating material housing configured to electronically interrupt an electrical line. A cooling unit in a second receiving space formed in the insulating material housing for cooling the power electronics system. The second receiving space having a first boundary surface directly adjacent to the first receiving space and a second boundary surface, different from the first boundary surface, formed by the securing side and/or one of the broad sides. The heat generated by the power electronics system is directly received by the cooling unit and discharged.
