METHOD FOR ESTIMATING THE AGEING STATE OF FUSE ELEMENTS AND AN ELECTRICAL FUSE MAINTENANCE SYSTEM
An electrical fuse maintenance system comprises sensor means adapted to measure the current flowing through a fuse element, the voltage on the fuse element, the temperature of the fuse element, and/or the temperature of an environment surrounding the fuse element, a controller configured to monitor said current, said voltage, said temperatures over a period of time while the fuse element is connected to an energized electrical power unit, Based on the monitored current, voltage and temperatures, the controller is adapted to estimate a service life remaining of the fuse element.
Power Component And System With The Power Component
A power component includes two electric terminals, a component housing, a main component at least partially surrounded by the component housing, connected with the two terminals, and configured to carry a power current flowing between the two electric terminals, and a sensor and emitter unit which is configured to measure a value of a physical quantity (T, V, ΔV) characterizing an operating state of the main component, and to emit an electromagnetic signal, in which the measured value of the physical quantity is encoded. The sensor and emitter unit includes an antenna for emitting the electromagnetic signal which is spaced apart from the main component and arranged in, on and/or at the component housing.

Fuse having an integrated measuring function, and fuse body
A fuse includes an integrated measuring function. In an embodiment, the fuse includes a fuse housing which in turn has a first receiving space delimited by a pressure body and a second receiving space which is spatially separated from the first receiving space and is delimited by a protective body, the first and second receiving spaces being arranged one behind the other in a direction of longitudinal extent. A fusible conductor is accommodated and mounted in the first receiving space and a measuring device is accommodated and mounted in the second receiving space. The measuring device has a current transformer and an electronic assembly which is electrically conductively connected to the current transformer. The current transformer and the electronic assembly are arranged one behind the other in the direction of longitudinal extent.
Thermal fuse and printed circuit board with thermal fuse
A thermal fuse having a bow, which has a first end with a first soldering surface for soldering to a first contact surface of a printed circuit board and a second end with a second soldering surface for soldering to a second contact surface of the printed circuit board, a tensioning element, which is secured to the bow between the first and the second end and which is designed to press with a preload against the bow and the printed circuit board once the two soldering surfaces and the contact surfaces of a printed circuit board have been soldered, wherein a portion of the bow, between the two ends thereof, has a measuring resistor connected in series to the two soldering surfaces. A printed circuit board having such a thermal fuse is additionally described.
The current transformer and the electronic assembly are arranged one behind the other in the direction of longitudinal extent.
Fusible Link, Circuit Arrangement and Motor Vehicle Comprising Said Circuit Arrangement
Melting fuse with a melting wire arranged between a first and a second terminal, characterized in that a connecting pin is arranged on each of the first and second terminals, a printed circuit board is placed on the connection pin, and at least one integrated circuit is arranged on the printed circuit board on the side facing away from the melting wire.
RELIABLE FAULT DETECTION AND FAULT LOCALIZATION IN A LOAD ZONE OF A DC SYSTEM
A load zone of a DC system includes a connection interface for supplying the load zone with electrical energy, an electronic switch arranged between the connection interface and a DC bus, and at least two electrical devices connected in parallel to the DC bus. A voltage sensor measures a voltage across a fuse arranged between the DC bus and a respective electrical device. An evaluation unit identifies a defective device of the at least two electrical devices based on a polarity of the voltage measured by the voltage sensor across the fuse. A DC system with such a load zone and an energy source connected to the connection interface of the load zone, as well as a method for operating such load zone or DC system are also disclosed. A device is identified as being defective when the voltage measured across the fuse exceeds a specified limit value.
