The invention relates to a power distribution unit (1), such as a fuse box for a vehicle, for providing a protected electrical connection between a power supply cable and a plurality of distribution cables (7). An enclosure that houses one or more fuses includes one or more fuse positioning structures. A fuse housing in the enclosure holds the one or more fuses. Each fuse positioning structure includes one or more fuse seats. Each fuse seat is configured to contact and apply pressure to a respective fuse in the fuse housing. The fuse positioning structure(s) cause one or both terminals of each fuse to be seated in a respective fuse clip or clips.
