Composite structures with embedded electrical grids
A composite structure of a cargo body and a method of making the same are disclosed. The composite structure includes at least one electrical grid embedded within fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) layers. The embedded electrical grid includes a plurality of conductive fibers and a plurality of insulating fibers integrated into a polymer matrix of the FRP layers. The embedded electrical grid may be used for power distribution, structural strengthening and stiffness, and/or puncture detection.

Switch case and switch
A switch case includes a first metal plate, a dome shape metal plate, and a second metal plate. The first metal plate includes a first ring in which a plurality of first recesses are arranged along the first ring shape, and a second ring in which a plurality of second recesses are arranged along the second ring shape. The second metal plate includes a third ring in which a plurality of third recesses are arranged along the third ring shape, and a fourth ring in which a plurality of fourth recesses are arranged along the fourth ring shape. A direction along a line passing through a center of the first ring and a center of the second ring is different from a direction along a line passing through a center of the third ring and a center of the fourth ring.
Contact member, contact member production method, and push-button switch member equipped with contact member
In a contact member, a mesh-like contact including one or more layers of a metal other than a noble metal is embedded in such a manner as to be exposed from one of the surfaces of a rubbery elastic body. The contact member includes a highly conductive metal coat layer only in the regions of the mesh-like contact which are exposed from the rubbery elastic body, the coat layer having conductivity higher than that of the metal on the outermost surfaces of the mesh-like contact.
KEYBOARD DEVICE
A keyboard device includes a base plate, a key structure and a membrane switch circuit member. The membrane switch circuit member includes a first board and a second board. The first board includes a first circuit pattern, a conductive paste mark and a first insulation layer. The conductive paste mark is dispensed or sprayed on the first board or the first circuit pattern to define an equivalent resistance. Consequently, a ghosting problem is avoided. The second board includes a second circuit pattern and a second insulation layer. Since the first contact and the second contact are separated from each other through the first insulation layer and the second insulation layer, it is not necessary to install the separation layer in the membrane switch circuit member.
SWITCH
A switch includes a housing and a metal terminal that is insert-molded into the housing. The metal terminal includes a contact portion provided on a first side of the metal terminal, an external connection portion provided on a second side of the metal terminal, and an embedded portion provided between the contact portion and the external connection portion and embedded in the housing. In the embedded portion, groove portions are formed in a front surface of the metal terminal and a rear surface of the metal terminal, the groove portions in the front surface being formed at positions different from the groove portions in the rear surface. The groove portions extend in a widthwise direction that is a direction intersecting an extending direction of the embedded portion.
SWITCH CASE AND SWITCH
A switch case includes a first metal plate, a dome shape metal plate, and a second metal plate. The first metal plate incudes a first ring in which a plurality of first recesses are arranged along the first ring shape, and a second ring in which a plurality of second recesses are arranged along the second ring shape. The second metal plate incudes a third ring in which a plurality of third recesses are arranged along the third ring shape, and a fourth ring in which a plurality of fourth recesses are arranged along the fourth ring shape. A direction along a line passing through a center of the first ring and a center of the second ring is different from a direction along a line passing through a center of the third ring and a center of the fourth ring.
Keyboard assemblies having reduced thickness and method of forming keyboard assemblies
Keyboard assemblies having reduced thicknesses and methods of forming the same. A keyboard assembly may include a printed circuit board (PCB) and a single membrane sheet adhered directly to the PCB. The single membrane sheet may substantially cover the PCB. The keyboard assembly may also include a group of dome switches coupled directly to the single membrane sheet. Another keyboard assembly may include a group of conductive pads and a group of membrane pads. Each of the group of membrane pads may be adhered directly to a corresponding one of the group of conductive pads. The keyboard assembly may also include a group of dome switches coupled directly to the membrane pads. Each of the group of dome switches may be coupled directly to a corresponding one of the group of membrane pads.

The contact member includes a highly conductive metal coat layer only in the regions of the mesh-like contact which are exposed from the rubbery elastic body, the coat layer having conductivity higher than that of the metal on the outermost surfaces of the mesh-like contact.
