DOME SWITCH BUTTON
A dome switch button is installed on a circuit board. The dome switch button includes an elastic piece, a conductive piece and a buffering element. The elastic piece is located over the conductive piece. The buffering element is located under the conductive piece and electrically connected with the circuit board. When the elastic piece is subjected to elastic deformation to trigger the conductive piece, an electric signal is generated. The buffering element is electrically connected with the circuit board. Moreover, a first electric pad and a second electric pad of the circuit board are covered by the buffering element. The electricity from the first electric pad and the second electric pad of the circuit board can be transferred to the conductive piece through the buffering element. Consequently, the conductive piece can be electrically connected with the circuit board without the need of using additional conductor lines.
Switch having improved moveable contact
An electrical switch (100) includes an insulative housing (110) forming a receiving space therein, a fixed contact set (121, 122) retained in the housing (110), a movable contact set (131, 132) located above the fixed contact set (121, 122), and a cover (140) mounted upon the housing, wherein the moveable contact set (131, 132) further includes at least three outwardly and downwardly extending protrusions (133) on a periphery at equal intervals so as to support up-and-down movement of the moveable contact set (131, 132) during operation with a superior manual feeling.
Key entry device
A key entry device including a housing, a keypad array disposed within the housing and including a plurality of keys, a key contact array disposed within the housing below the keypad array and including a plurality of contact pairs, a dome array underlying the keypad array and the key contact array and including a plurality of domes, and a protrusion array underlying the dome array and including a plurality of protrusions, whereby depression of one of the plurality of keys of the keypad array causes a corresponding one of the domes of the dome array to be displaced downwardly and to be deformed by pushing engagement with a corresponding one of the protrusions of the protrusion array into contact with at least one of the contact pairs of the key contact array.
Multipolar switch
A multipolar switch includes a first electrical contact zone connected to a first electrical circuit, and a second electrical contact zone connected to a second electrical circuit. In addition, a first part made from an electrically conducting material is arranged on and at a distance from the first electrical contact zone, and a second part made from an electrically conducting material is arranged on the first part. An electrically insulating layer is arranged between the first part and the second part so as to electrically insulate them from one another. So configured, the first part is configured to be elastically deformed when being mechanically solicited in an actuating direction of the multipolar switch, and the second part is configured to be elastically deformed or be displaced in the actuating direction of the multipolar switch, between a rest configuration and an activated configuration.
Cable micro input devices
A small form-factor input device operative to be coupled to an electronic device using a cable may include a circuit board; a first electrical switch disposed on a first side of the circuit board; a second electrical switch disposed on a second side of the circuit board; a frame defining a periphery, wherein the circuit board is maintained within the periphery of the frame; first and second shells that house the circuit board, the first shell placed over the first side of the circuit board, and the second shell placed over the second side of the circuit board; and at least one clip coupled to each one of the first shell and the second shell, wherein the at least one clip is operative to engage the frame.
Vehicle seat suspension mat
A suspension mat (14) for a vehicle seat comprises one or more suspension springs (16) for supporting a cushion (28), a support plate (18) attached to the one or more suspension springs, a mobile plate (34) coupled with the support plate, a flat spring (26) arranged between the support plate and the mobile plate and a switch element. The mobile plate is arranged movable between a first and a second position relative to the support plate. The flat spring biases the mobile plate toward the first position. The switch element is located between the support plate and the flat spring, in such a way that when the mobile plate moves against a bias of the flat spring toward the second position, the flat spring presses and actuates the switch element. The flat spring may e.g. comprise a washer spring, a plate spring, a dome-shaped flat spring and/or a cantilever flat spring.
PUSH SWITCH
A push switch contains a case including a housing space having an upper-opening and including fixed-contacts disposed on a bottom of the housing space, a movable contact member disposed in the housing space configured to deform in response to receiving pressure applied from above, and contacting the fixed-contacts upon defoming in response to the received pressure, and a pushing member disposed on the movable contact member and configured to transmit the received pressure to the movable contact member. The movable contact member includes a pair of first-linear edges, wherein the pushing member includes a plurality of projecting-pressing portions disposed on a bottom surface of the pushing member facing the movable contact member, and wherein the plurality of pressing portions is disposed on the bottom surface at positions not overlapping a straight-line that passes through a center of the movable contact member and intersecting each of the pair of first-linear edges.
A electrically insulating layer is arranged between the first part and the second part so as to electrically insulate them from one another.
