Key switch device and keyboard
A key switch device includes: a key top that includes an operating surface; a pair of link members that is interlocked with each other to move the key top upward and downward; a frame member that includes a leg portion extending downward and a flange portion provided at an end of the leg portion, and pivotably supports the pair of the link members; and a support plate that includes a through hole through which the leg portion and the flange portion penetrate, and a projection portion projecting upwardly from a part of an outer periphery of the through hole toward an inside of the through hole.
KEYSWITCH
A keyswitch uses a combination of springs connected in serial for providing a return force to a keycap of the keyswitch. When the keycap moves toward a base of the keyswitch beyond a transition position, one of the springs stops continuously deforming. It leads to an increment of the elastic coefficient of the combination of springs and an increment of the elastic stored energy by the combination of springs. Therefore, during a pressing on the keycap, the keycap can provide a light force feedback and then a heavy force feedback to a user. Further, the keyswitch can use a switch with a lateral motion, which can reduce influence of a resilient force produced by the switch on the up and down movement of the keycap. The keyswitch also can use an elastic piece disposed beside the keycap, which can provide a tactile feedback to the user.
ILLUMINATED KEYSWITCH
An illuminated keyswitch includes a base, a keycap, a lift mechanism, and a light source. The keycap includes a cap body and a light guiding rod. The lift mechanism is connected to between the light guiding rod and the base, such that the keycap can vertically move relative to the base through the lift mechanism. The light source is disposed between the light guiding rod and the base and emits light toward the light guiding rod. The light enters the light guiding rod through an end portion of the light guiding rod and then emits out the light guiding rod from another end portion of the light guiding rod and a side surface adjacent to the another end portion toward the cap body. Thereby, the whole cap body can receives relatively uniform back light.
PUSH SWITCH
A push switch according to the present disclosure includes: a case including a recess; a fixed contact member including a fixed contact disposed in the recess; a movable contact member including a movable contact disposed in the recess; a protective sheet disposed in a first direction from the recess and covering the recess; and a rib disposed on the protective sheet. The protective sheet includes: a pressing portion; a fixed portion fixed to the case; and an intermediate portion located between the pressing portion and the fixed portion as viewed in the first direction. As the pressing portion of the protective sheet is pressed along the first direction, the movable contact member deforms by force received from the protective sheet. The movable contact touches the fixed contact as a result of the deformation of the movable contact member.
Electrical assembly with contacts with modified mating surfaces
An electrical assembly adapted for switching power to a circuit having a power source. The electrical assembly includes a housing with current carrying contacts disposed in the housing. The current carrying contacts have engagement ends with non-linear surfaces. A coupling member is provided in the housing. The coupling member has mating portions for engaging the non-linear surfaces of the current carrying contacts. The mating portions have grooves provided thereon which extend from top surfaces of the mating portions toward bottom surfaces of the mating portions. As the electrical assembly is moved to a closed position, the grooves of the mating portions of the coupling member are moved into engagement with the non-linear surfaces of the contacts, resulting in multiple contact points being provided between the non-linear surfaces of each respective contact of the current carrying contacts and edges each respective groove of the groove of the mating portions.
Push switch
A push switch includes: a case including a recess; a fixed contact member including a fixed contact disposed in the recess; a movable contact member including a movable contact disposed in the recess; a protective sheet disposed in a first direction from the recess and covering the recess; and a rib disposed on the protective sheet.
Multiple-position momentary electrical push switch with configurable activation zones
A momentary electrical push switch that can be configured for 2 or more activation positions. The switch has a top surface, or “key” top, which is pressed down upon in different areas to actuate the switch's different activation positions. The key top can be of various shapes, such as quadrangles, circle, hexagon, etc., or irregular shapes, to suit a particular application. The key top can be divided into multiple segments, or activation zones, each corresponding to a different activation position of the switch. The key allows free-form movement when pressing down upon it, without requiring the user to use specific or narrowly-defined motions to actuate the various activation positions.
SWITCH DEVICE STRUCTURE
A switch device structure includes an assembly of a main body and an operation body. An electrical connection module and an elastic unit are mounted on the main body. The contact arm of the electrical connection module has a first member and/or a second member with variable arrangement position. According to the position or motion of the operation body, the elastic unit provides an elastic force to push the contact arm of the electrical connection module into a contacting circuit closed state or make the elastic unit separate from the contact arm to form a circuit open state. The arrangement form of the first member and/or the second member of the contact arm of the electrical connection module is variable in accordance with the specification of the switch to achieve NO mode and NC mode.
Electrical power supply disconnector for a protection module and protection module including such a disconnector
An electrical power supply disconnector for establishing or severing the connection between current conductors and a power supply circuit. The electrical power supply disconnector includes a housing including a central passage, the walls of which bear contact strips that are located facing one another along a contact axis, and a slider sliding through the central passage in the direction of a centre axis, and bearing at least a first electrically conductive bar, oriented along the contact axis, for electrically connecting at least one first low contact strip and one high contact strip when the slider is in a first position. A protection module including such a power supply disconnector.
PUSH SWITCH
A push switch which can have a small separation distance from a side surface of a mounting board, when it is mounted on the mounting board through a step, is disclosed. The push switch includes a substrate having a first surface on which a first fixed contact point and a second fixed contact point surrounding the first fixed contact point are formed, a second surface located opposite to the first surface, a third surface extending from the second surface to a corner in a direction perpendicular to the first surface, and a fourth surface extending from the corner parallel to the first surface, and a conductive movable contact point having a peripheral edge is in contact with the second fixed contact point, and a center contacted by the first fixed contact point when the movable contact point is pressed, and the corner includes a groove recessed with respect to at least one of the third surface and the fourth surface.
