Keyboard comprising multiple stabilized tile-shaped keys
The keyboard having a plurality of plate-shaped keys which are connected to actuators stabilizes the keys by all the keys and all the actuators being connected to a bending-elastic but tension-resistant band-like membrane.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING KEY
Disclosed are various embodiments relating to an electronic device that includes a key An electronic device may include a housing having a through-hole formed therein. A key may be exposed through the through-hole and configured to be pressed. A key switch may be located on a rear surface of the key, wherein the key structure may be configured to enable the key to be pressed and to detect the press of the key. Moreover, a structure provided on a lower portion of the housing may be able to bear a pressure exerted by a user when pressing the key in a direction opposite the housing. Further, a dummy detachably provided between the housing and the structure, wherein the dummy, when being attached, may support the key and the key switch such that both are capable of being pressed in the through-hole toward the direction of the structure.
Keyboard device
A keyboard device includes plural keycaps and a membrane switch circuit member. The membrane switch circuit member is disposed under the plural keycaps. The membrane switch circuit member includes a wiring board and plural separate covering pads. The wiring board includes plural first trace patterns and plural second trace patterns corresponding to the plural keycaps. The plural second trace patterns are disposed on the wiring board and separated from the plural first trace patterns. There is a gap between each first trace pattern and the adjacent second trace pattern. The covering pads are disposed over the wiring board. The plural covering pads are aligned with the corresponding keycaps and cover the corresponding gaps. The covering pad has a triggering trace pattern over the corresponding gap.
IRREVERSIBLE SWITCH FOR LAMINATED COMMUNICATION DEVICE, AND LAMINATED COMMUNICATION DEVICE USING THE SWITCH
An irreversible power switch which is operational from the outside after lamination of laminated communication device and the like, includes a substrate, electrodes disposed on the substrate, a brittle member disposed so as to face the electrodes and apart from the electrodes and a conductive adhesive portion disposed on the brittle member at a side to face the electrodes thereof. The electrodes and the conductive adhesive portion are irreversibly and electrically bonded by brittle fracture of the brittle member under the external pressing force in the thickness direction of the laminated communication device.
Push-button switch member
A push-button switch member includes: a movable contact and an operation key disposed facing the protruding side thereof, and in contact therewith or spaced therefrom. The movable contact includes: an upper contact portion disposed directly under a key body; an outer fixed portion in the upper contact portion or more outward therefrom in the radial direction, and fixed more outward in the radial direction than the key body; and a non-contacting outer portion provided more outward in the radial direction than the upper contact portion, and disposed to face in a non-contacting state another contact so as to be able to contact another contact which is disposed on an outer side in the radial direction and contacted by the upper contact portion when pushed by the key body. The non-contacting outer portion has a bottom portion for a line contact or a surface contact with another contact.
CAUTERIZING DEVICE AND SYSTEM
An electrocautery device and system include retractability and extension of a cauterizing tip without impacting or applying backpressure to the supporting electrical components inside the device. In some embodiments, a conductive rail is in constant contact with a spring contact electrically coupled to the power source as the cauterizing tip is retracted or extended from the main housing. Some embodiments include a vacuum system that draws fluid from the treatment site during operation. The fluid travels through a passageway that is sealed off from the electrical components by virtue of aspects of the device. Some embodiments include an ergonomic design and are lower cost by using membrane switch circuits instead of a printed circuit board.

The electrodes and the conductive adhesive portion are irreversibly and electrically bonded by brittle fracture of the brittle member under the external pressing force in the thickness direction of the laminated communication device.
Keyboard assemblies having reduced thickness and method of forming keyboard assemblies
Keyboard assemblies having reduced thicknesses and methods of forming the same. A keyboard assembly may include a printed circuit board (PCB) and a single membrane sheet adhered directly to the PCB. The single membrane sheet may substantially cover the PCB. The keyboard assembly may also include a group of dome switches coupled directly to the single membrane sheet. Another keyboard assembly may include a group of conductive pads and a group of membrane pads. Each of the group of membrane pads may be adhered directly to a corresponding one of the group of conductive pads. The keyboard assembly may also include a group of dome switches coupled directly to the membrane pads. Each of the group of dome switches may be coupled directly to a corresponding one of the group of membrane pads.
