FUSE DESIGN
A fuse assembly includes a fuse element, a first terminal, a second terminal, a socket, and a capsule. The fuse element is disposed between first and second end bells. The first terminal includes a first bell portion, a first socket portion, and a first capsule portion, the first bell portion being connected to the first end bell. The second terminal includes a second bell portion, a second socket portion, and a second capsule portion, the second bell portion being connected to the second end bell. The first socket portion and the second socket portion are integrated through the socket. The first capsule portion and the second capsule portion are integrated through the capsule. The socket is seated atop the capsule to create an interior chamber inside which the fuse element is disposed.
Button integration for an electronic device
This application relates to various button related embodiments for use with a portable electronic device. In some embodiments, a snap clip can be integrated with a button bracket to save space where two separate brackets would take up too much space in the portable electronic device. In other embodiments, a tactile switch can be waterproofed by welding a polymeric layer atop a tactile switch assembly. In this way water can be prevented from contacting moisture sensitive components of the tactile switch assembly. The weld joining the polymeric layer to the tactile switch can include at least one gap to trapped gas surrounding the tactile switch assembly to enter and exit during heat excursions caused by various operating and/or assembly operations.
ANYWHERE WIRELESS SWITCH AND/OR DIMMER
An electrical device such as, for example, a battery-powered electrical switch is disclosed. The battery-powered wireless switch includes one or more mechanisms arranged and configured to provide simplified access for servicing (e.g., replacing) the batteries located within the wireless switch. In one embodiment, the wireless switch is arranged and configured so that the batteries may be accessed by reconfiguring the wireless switch from a first closed position to a second opened position to access the batteries. Thus arranged, removal of the wireless switch from a wall-box or a surface of a wall is not required, the user may only need to remove the wall-plate in order to reconfigure the wireless switch. In one embodiment, at least a portion of the wireless switch is pivoted from the first position to the second position to provide access to the batteries.
Electrical power supply disconnector for a protection module and protection module including such a disconnector
An electrical power supply disconnector for establishing or severing the connection between current conductors and a power supply circuit. The electrical power supply disconnector includes a housing including a central passage, the walls of which bear contact strips that are located facing one another along a contact axis, and a slider sliding through the central passage in the direction of a centre axis, and bearing at least a first electrically conductive bar, oriented along the contact axis, for electrically connecting at least one first low contact strip and one high contact strip when the slider is in a first position. A protection module including such a power supply disconnector.
Vertical surface mount device pass-through fuse
A vertical surface mount device pass-through fuse including an electrically insulating fuse body, a fusible element disposed on a first side of the fuse body and extending between first and second terminals, an electrically insulating cap having a domed portion and a flanged portion extending from the domed portion, the domed portion disposed over the fusible element, and the flanged portion affixed to the fuse body, and a conductive lead frame having a bow portion and an elongate shank portion extending from the bow portion, wherein the bow portion is disposed on the cap and is connected to the first terminal, and wherein the shank portion extends away from the fuse body.
SWITCH UNIT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SWITCH SUBSTRATE
A switch unit includes a substrate, which includes a hard layer and a soft layer; a first contact point above the soft layer; a second contact point around the first contact point; a conduction spring member which is elastically deformable into contact with the first contact point to make a conduction between the first contact point and the second contact point; a first external electrode; a first through-hole electrode which is electrically connected to the first contact point; and a first wiring pattern, which is electrically connected to the first external electrode and the first through-hole electrode.
TOUCHPAD MODULE AND COMPUTING DEVICE USING SAME
A touchpad module for a computing device is provided. The computing device includes a fixing frame. The touchpad module includes a touch member, a switch, a base plate and a triggering film layer. The touch member is disposed within the fixing framer. The switch is disposed on the touch member. The base plate is disposed within the fixing frame and opposed to the touch member. The base plate includes a perforation. The switch is aligned with the perforation. The triggering film layer is arranged between the base plate and the switch. The perforation of the base plate is covered by the triggering film layer. The present invention also provides a computing device with the touchpad module.
SMD switch and touchpad module and computing device using same
A surface mount device switch includes a pedestal, a flexible conducting element and a metal dome. The flexible conducting element is connected with the pedestal. There is a spacing distance between the flexible conducting element and a circuit board. The metal dome is located under a pedestal conducting part of the pedestal and the flexible conducting element. When the flexible conducting element is pushed by the metal dome, the flexible conducting element is deformable in the direction toward the circuit board. Since the collision between the metal dome and the flexible conducting element is alleviated, the noise is reduced. Consequently, the comfort of operating the touchpad module is enhanced. The present invention further provides a touchpad module and a computing device with the surface mount device switch.
