Backlight module and method of manufacturing the same

A backlight module includes a cover plate, a light guide plate, a circuit board, a reflective layer, and a light source. The light guide plate is disposed under the cover plate and has a first hole corresponding to a light-shielding region of the cover plate. The circuit board is disposed under the light guide plate and includes a first substrate and a conductive layer having a through hole. The reflective layer is disposed between the light guide plate and the circuit board and has a second hole. The first substrate is in contact with the reflective layer. The conductive layer is disposed between the first substrate and the reflective layer having a recess recessed into the through hole. The light source is disposed on the circuit board, accommodated in the first hole and the second hole corresponding thereto, and in contact with the conductive layer.

Multilayer Switchdome Systems and Methods

Multilayer switchdome systems and methods are presented that may enable improved tactile and strength properties and enhanced action. Embodiments may utilize a first layer of spring material (1) and at least a second layer of spring material (2) to form a switchdome component (4). In certain embodiments, the spring material layers may be conjoined by utilizing a switchdome bond (3) to create an integrated bonded composite spring sheet material (7). Various forming processes (8) may be employed in performing the varying embodiments of a method of switchdome component (4) forming. The varying forming processes (8) may improve the physical properties of the tactile switchdome component (4). The varying processes, spring materials, and switchdome bond types may be optimized for a particular application.

Low-profile keysets and input devices having such low-profile keysets are described. In one example, the input device includes a support structure having a first and second surface; a bezel having a first and second surface, wherein the first surface of the bezel is adjacent to the first surface of the support structure, and the bezel comprises at least one opening; at least one key cap positioned within the at least one opening of the bezel, wherein each key cap is configured to move between a first and second position to trigger a function of the input device; and a fabric cover layer positioned adjacent to the second surface of the bezel, such that the bezel and the at least one key cap are positioned between the fabric cover layer and the support structure, the fabric cover layer is only adhered to the second surface of the bezel.

The operator control device can further include at least one restoring element, formed of silicone and supported on the base element and on the pushbutton switch, which can be elastically deformed by moving the pushbutton switch from the position of rest into the activation position. Using the restoring element, the pushbutton switch can be moved from the activation position into the position of rest by relaxing the restoring element.

The electrodes and the conductive adhesive portion are irreversibly and electrically bonded by brittle fracture of the brittle member under the external pressing force in the thickness direction of the laminated communication device.

The load detection unit includes the electrode, an operation deformation portion to deform in response to an operation on the operation unit, and a detection electrode as the other of the pair of conductors. The electrode, the operation deformation portion and the detection electrode are located between the substrate and the operation unit and arranged in this order from the substrate.
